I like mark whalberg as an actor. I can't help it. His movies are fun to watch for the most part, if not really good.
What I want to know is what is the degree of racism in Boston? I know the city has its reputation. But my girl is from there and she is from a more diverse part of greater Boston. And I haven't experienced any racism directed at me but I can see the blatant segregation in Dorchester for example. But is it that bad compared to NYC? I mean with profiling at Macy's 34st or NYPD...is Boston any worse than NYC?

I'm from Dorchester. lived there most of my life. there's definitely some racism for sure depending where you are. been called a c**** plenty of times and heard a lot of "Ching Chong makahoi" growing up from both white and black kids
haven't spent enough time in NYC to make a comparison
haven't encountered much of that lately tho.

This has been known. He did a little stint at the old deer island way back. It's not shocking at all if you know anything about boston. Racial slurs are tossed around pretty casually here. He already paid for his mistake I don't know what the problem is. Who cares about the Asian he robbed? What has he done with his life? What has he given back to the community?
