The Official Black Mirror Thread: Season 6 on Netflix Now

Just watched the first 2 episodes of the new season

In the first episode, I knew immediately within the first 2 minutes that I was gonna be pissed off based on how it's already happening in real life. There were clear underlying themes here too, social and political. That world felt like a liberal fantasy.

In the second episode, dude was a moron. I felt no sympathy for him at all.

That.......(that might be the best piece of Television that I have ever watched, ever)...let me stop myself now until have had some time to process this, that's a big claim.

The episode is perfection. Truly. Just glad there is more to watch since I didn't watch in order. Wow, though. My mind is blown. (Hyperbole?) Wow.

The whole time in going through thinking 'just let everyone in your contacts know you're beingblackmailled and move on. Everyone jerks off.' Felt like everyone else had more to lose than him so I couldn't understand why he would first agree to be the robber and second actually fight to the death and not just leave at either point.

Then when he gets the phonecall the whole episode flipped on its head for me. The whole time I was sympathetic to him. I was thinking that this episode was weak because of the leaps in logic it had to make to get this kid to go this far so people won't see him jerking off. That made it all make sense.

I have to watch again knowing the ending.

when he was in the car crying to Bronn about it, I knew something was off. Like he said everyone does it and he's a kid what does it matter. Once he broke down crying at the fight in the forest and dude said yeah it was kids for me too I was :x
 
Felt the same exact way about episode 3.

Yea, 6 is really good.

I still think that Be Right Back from S2 is the best BM episode but 1, 3, 4 and 6 from this season were great.

Episode 3 is crazy. Started off slow but things got real quick. That ending . [emoji]128552[/emoji]

The thing I like about this Season is, I think there's a Happy end coming......

Just finished ep2, man they are on point with everything. Each scenario is great.
You know how some shows(hell every show really) have those drop off eps where you tolerate them as part of the entire package.
This show doesn't have to worry about that, they've done well, real well, with each ep.

I still never finished all the season 1 episodes. They didn't really interest me.
 
Episode 4.... Please let that be a reality soon. True a friend. Show is quality. Haven't seen one that I would consider a filler episode.

Episode I liked least was the political cartoon character, Waldo iirc but that was from an earlier season. .

Started the first season last night and I'm about half way through the third. Thank God I have a wedding to go to or my whole weekend would've been me watching this show.

The main question is: should these people have been exposed?
 
Just watched first episode. Loved it. Executed very well.

Shorty in episode 2 is so damn gorgeous man
 
Last episode is a movie man and what a ******* movie

Episode 6 >>> white Christmas

Would love to see those characters again. It set up like a series. The scale of the attacks, the detective work. Tied so many current issues and headlines.

Netflix putting the money really payed off for the show budget wise

Main character and dude in the woods deserve it. Others not really.
 
Season has been something else.
seen 5 of them.
Going to kill the last one in a bit. The 5th was my least favorite episode of the season so far.
 
Going to have to start this show tonight. Hearing too many good things this weekend, and seems like anyone who takes the time to watch gets hooked.
 
I kinda figured he was beating off to cheese pizza instead regular porn. Why go to such lengths to cover it up.

Yep, the kid freaking out beyond belief and being very coy about it when Bronn asked was very suspect.

Bronn even tells him everyone beats their meat, so it wasn't a big deal.

Man ep 4 was wild. How imaginative! I was surprised it had the second highest rating (ep 6 highest)on IMDB, I guess it hit home with a lot of folks. I'm on the last ep I have to watch, ep5.

Finally a Happy ending though [\spoiler]
