Set a reminder on my phone for 10 minutes before 6am (PST). Turned off my alarm and closed my eyes for 5 seconds. |I
 
Struck out bad this morning. Was trying on my phone since 6am and I couldn't get the site up until they were sold out. Glad a lot of NTers were able to get through.

Now I need to wait for a 7 1/4 to pop up on their site or buy from a reseller.

Need to rep NT all day, every day.
 
Missed out... again. :frown:

Didn't get the last hat either, but I got a lot of the t-shirts they used to sell when we were on ezboard and yuku.







Still want the hat though.

I guess 7.5 is a common size...

every email that comes in is SCRUTINIZED, lol...

So my status just changed to "On Hold"...

Whats the speculation on this? That i'm getting the cancel hammer?
 
I'm "On Hold" and my last 3 arent over 285.  I used eCap's checkout system and made an account.
 
I'm really mad.

But I know the response will be "get over it, without ecap this WOULDNT be even possible."

But why even do something if it's not going to be done right?

What's right? Maybe all 700 people who voted and were interested being able to easily attain one of these hats, especially when we were all willing to pay a hefty hard earned $48 dollars shipped for one, knowing it helps the community and gets is a hat we've wanted for years to rep NT.

Why couldn't we just wait a few more
Months and try to do something so that there can be more produced?

We got dudes on Twitter that aren't even actively part of our community shoving their confirmed orders in our faces asking for 125 dollars, seeking profits.

Meanwhile those of us who voted the very first day a thread was made for the hats, and have waited patiently all the way through until today and all the way through the server issues and website problems, are on the outside looking in missing out on the hat. No missed alarms, no sleeping in, no excuses...some of us were up right at 6am pacific right on the dot, with our shipping info ready, credit card/pal pal info logged into, ready to click submit and cop.

There is no positive way to spin the fact that we weren't able to and now have to wait another 5 years for another measly "288" hats to be released and an extra few 1000 people lurking and fighting for them, making it even harder.

I know the response will be deal with it, but I've been here for 9 years, missed out on the first hat AND the t-shirt, and so you gotta at least understand my frustration for missing out AGAIN today when my hat was in my cart being checked out, only to find out it was swiped while the submit order page was loading.

It's not easy waiting 5 years for another run at it.
 
My last three are under 285 so that's good to know and I got both emails from PayPal and ecap. Where can I cbeck my status to see if it says on hold? Didn't have account and checked out through PayPal.
