We had a sale way back in December.

Just looked at the update on what happened

. I'm personally disgusted at the fraudulent actions by that small group of people. It makes us look really bad. I hope to grab a hat when they do return and hopefully it won't be as difficult.

Hey guys, I know that everyone's eager to see these hats release ASAP, but we've hit a slight snag and rather than sort it all out behind the scenes in the conventional way, I thought I'd instead give you all the opportunity to help us resolve the issue faster.

Since Cap City is no longer able to sell these for us, due to all of the aforementioned issues, we've had to look elsewhere.  We have a prospective partner interested, but the only design files we've received from the original designer, @yoRAJAH  , and Cap City have been in .JPG format - not in the professional standard, Adobe Illustrator format.

Tracking down Rajah has proven difficult lately, but I know there are talented graphic designers here on NikeTalk who might be able to help us.

If you know or are a graphic designer, we would need to essentially recreate the NT logo in Illustrator format.  It's essential that we maintain the proportions of the original design for the sake of consistency, and to ensure that we meet everyone's expectations with the new caps.

Here's one of those old cap designs for reference:

Remember, we don't need to recreate the whole thing, just the NT logo.

If you can help, please send me the completed Illustrator files via support@niketalk.com, and include your account name so we acknowledge you for your assistance.  I believe there should be an option to allow .pdf compatibility.  Please do so, as this will help us proof the files without Illustrator.

If you know of another user who can help, please bring this to their attention or simply @ mention them to encourage them to give us a hand.

With your help, we should still be able to get these released before the end of the year.

Without a doubt have the people in here w/ the skills to get this done, don't even sweat it Meth. :pimp:

See, this is why I came to you guys.

If I'd tried to struggle my way through this, I'd have been waiting potentially weeks for a response - or I'd be out hundreds of dollars purchasing Illustrator and attempting to stumble my way through it.

The logo itself wasn't even designed in Illustrator to begin with.  I used a decade-old photo editing application that probably doesn't even exist anymore.

You guys came through within minutes.  @CLU713  already sent in a version of the logo in AI format.  It looks on point to me, so I'm sending it on to the prospective partner for their review.

I've learned over the years to avoid making any announcements on faith, so you won't hear any definitive news on who the partner is or when we'll launch until we've entered production or - better yet - when I've seen the finished product.

If all goes to plan, however, I think most of you will be pleased.  We couldn't do things the same as we've done them in the past, but I think we have something special lined up and look forward to discussing it further when the time is right.

Thanks, everyone!

Can't do snap backs

...
The design I posted earlier was an old, preliminary design and is not representative of any future product.

I wouldn't want the "Since '99" text above a snapback window, for example.

A snapback release is much easier for us to handle logistically, so the odds of that happening are highest right now - but the NT fitted is not dead.  There is still hope for that product.

I don't like to talk about pending projects too much, because I'd hate to dash people's hopes if something falls through, but if all goes to plan you may see both a snapback AND a fitted release in the future.

Just treat it like a No Limit Records album, they were always "Coming Soon", some dropped and some didn't, no expectations there.
