Display Your Taste In Music Vol. We're Going Beyond Hip-Hop

Deep progressive kinda always had the heart of my ears. That love carried on into hip-hop as I start to seek out rappers that got elaborate, melodic production... Speaking of which, if anyone's aware of rappers that drop on beats reminiscent of the ambient, trippy sound like the track below - hit a playa up!

I was a fan of this one more if you take the few good songs off the first disk and combine with the second

"Mother, mother
There's too many of you crying
Brother, brother, brother
There's far too many of you dying"

R.I.P. Antonio Martin :smh:

This album came out in 1971 and its content is just as relevant today.

I'm not too big of a metal fan. I'm more into HC, but this song, musically, is one of my favorites out of anything I've ever listened to. The introl from 0:34 to about 1:22 amps me up every time.

-Back in the day, Nas' I Am... got HEAVY play in my mom's ride. I used to beg my mom to turn on the radio. Forced to listen to it, I became fond to a couple joints (Favor For A Favor, You Won't See Me Tonight, etc.) Later in life, I naturally used this album to familiarize myself with Nas.

I thought we were going beyond Hip-Hop.
We are; I just had to make that post when I found that CD after all these years.
And now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

Mike Will x Miley > Mike Will x Fewcha

Bring back the blue eyed soul thread. Outside of rap and 90s rnb I mess with 80s rock n pop heavy, might be my favorite type of music.

Longview and that bassline >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Grew up with a lot of Soul, funk, and RnB in the house (mom is White too ) she would blast that **** like no other. She could tell you damn near every Hip-Hop and RnB that took samples from that time. Recently got into Electronica like Com Truise.
