I was supposed to interview for my dream internship today in Miami, but because of this breaking news (likely more important to residents of Miami than elsewhere), they had to reschedule

The US and Cuba haven't had any formal diplomatic relations in over 50 years ever since ties were severed after the Cuban Revolution. This opens the door for the easing of travel restrictions,exchange of intelligence/prisoners and a possible end to the trade embargo on Cuba.
