I mean lets be real this wouldnt even be a thread if Vick didnt have some type of influence. And it's not like we're not gonna discount (triple negative!) the fact that you see athletic QBs on every level wear the number 7. There may not be any tangible evidence that shows Vick affected how athletic QBs are drafted and evaluated in todays NFL but to say he has zero influence would just be wrong

Hey, just something to think about, how is it this guy always comes into some money? The only NFL player to sign two 100 million dollar contracts, get big endorsements, goes into bankrupcy in jail and gets out of it in two years, and still gets 5 mil contracts at age 35 coming off the bench. This dude stays getting money tho, I am actually amazed happy curious and confused at him at the same time

I guess Stillin's point about casual fans was true and this thread is proof, but nonetheless stats aside you can't discredit this mans impact on others.
It's evident by the respect he gets from his peers. Players from the opposing team were coming up to him for autographs after games when he was in Philly.
If you've even been to the Georgia Dome when Vick was in town, the love this dude gets is unreal, Matty Ice wishes he could get that kind of love from fans.
To me he's the most polarizing football player since Bo Jackson, I'd put his star power over Emmit, Barry, Deion and Randy.

I'm not even saying it accomplishment wise but mike Vicks impact on the young inner city kids in his time was ai like. Dude had everybody trying out for our football team in hs trynna play qb. Hell our qb who eventually got signed by the lions for a season swore he was son. I remember this dude went around making a killing selling these shirts he made wit Vick juking a defender and said vicktimized on the bottom. Dont sit here and act like dudes ain't wanna be Vick when we were young and lost.

The skill level just wasn't there, no contemporary really goes out of their way to model themselves after Vick nor does any front office nor HC look for a Vick-like player.
