Insane video game trailer for "Hatred" vol. when is a video game TOO violent?

Seen worse in movies. Seems like they're ODing just for the sake of doing it like Manhunt and Thrill Kill.

Will play once its on sale or I can get it on PC.
 
Can't even see the trailer. Eh, it's just further desensitizing anyways. People are used to it by now sadly. 
 
Most of the controversy for this game comes from the issue that the creators may or may not be neo nazis( they're Polish and the creator likes to subscribe to certain questionable newsletters)
 
I couldn't believe this was real...until I saw that it was Pc only. Game seems kind of corny due to the voice acting/ script. I'd rather just play GTA.
I see the appeal and don't at the same time.

Ahh hell nah! Ban this **** asap. Obvious game about targeting and killing innocent people. Pretty much how that controversial mission in COD where you had to kill people in the airport, I expect this to have the same results.

You never had to kill anyone in that mission :rolleyes

Steam already pulled it (Hatred), but I do think it has every right to be released. I'm not down with censorship in games. Y'all have no idea how much a pain in the *** the ESRB is with console games with what material makes it into games.

Game looks dope, :lol:

I can go around killling innocent NPC's in GTA, I don't really see what the issue is.

People act like you can't find videos of actual murder in less than 5 seconds w/ a simple Google search.

Game is sorta old, but anyway ..

There's a difference between this and GTA. This game the goal is to kill innocent people - you're rewarded for it. GTA also has this comedic, satirical approach to it.

The whole mood and aesthetic of Hatred is mad uncomfortable to me - how this can be seen as "fun" is beyond me. To each his own I guess.

And no, I'm not one of those people that will go on google to look for videos of actual murder.

That's just me tho.

The whole tone if hatred is ****** up. Its the type of **** mass murderers would beat off too
 
This game is sick. IT isn't like killing people in GTA. It has a school/ mass shooting vibe to it. And when I say sick I don't mean it in a good way.

This is kinda' OD. The premise of the game is jus' to mass murder people. This screams "Teenage killings". I honestly don't see this game being released and seeing the light of day. If anything, retailer will not carry this game in their stores. May be online purchase only.
 
The fact that the story line hits many people close to home regarding an awful epidemic leads me to believe that it won't be released. This is similar to the Japanese games that focus on raping and assaulting women. There's a gray area between entertainment and offensive, and it's impossible to draw a line. Game definitely has am evil vibe to it, strangely enough, it may satisfy the sadistic urges of someone that wanted to do something like this.

We humans can be so strange. We know something is wrong, yet we're eerily drawn closer to the dark mystique.

The fact that the main character is basically playing God, determining who is fit to live or die could possibly give someone am insane power rush.
 
manhunt was a dope game though...the villains were seriously creepy and the gameplay was solid
