Insane video game trailer for "Hatred" vol. when is a video game TOO violent?

not really something that looks fun to me but i dont see anything wrong releasing it

if you dont like it dont buy the game

Games like this have been around since Atari.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre you play leather face and you have to kill innocent people, that's the only purpose of the game.

Literally the same exact thing.

Gangster simulators where you have the option to kill is ok, but murder sims aren't?

Nobodies forcing you to watch or play any of this stuff.

This world gets softer by the day, I swear.

Hell no, being a dev probably sucks nowadays.

This game doesn't even seem good, I feel like it was developed strictly to get people's panties in a twist and it's clearly working.

So, job well done.

I see the difference, I was just pointing out that you seemingly kill innocent civilians in both games.

One thing i usually did in gta4, was to take over a hospital.

I'd shoot everyone inside, then wait for the cops.
Any cop fool brave enough to walk through the sliding door got obliterated with an rpg.

Hatred is a messed up game, but some also see gta as a messed up game.
I haven't finished gtav, but supposedly you're forced to torture someone as one of the story missions.
 
I can see why people would think it's different, sure, but to me video game murder is video game murder.

I don't care about the tone or w/e it is that people are bringing up.

It's a damn game, who cares?

This isn't even an original concept it's been done a zillion times.
 
Who knows, maybe potential mass shooters can blow off steam with this game.

Killing innocent civilians in GTA is the objective/required to complete the game now?

I am sure that you can complete GTA 100% without killing a single innocent civilian.

And in the older GTA games, you were even required to help the community in order to complete the game 100% with those boring ambulance and fire fighting missions.

This game looks stupid and mad corny, like it was designed by a 15-21 year old kid who is isolated and hates the world around him. All they wanted was to make the violence against innocent civilians so over the top so that it generates publicity. Congratulations: Mission accomplished.

I'd buy a ps4 just to play this game.

Not that I support this game being shared with the masses, if the right individual is playing to relieve stress in a figurative way then cool.
 
I have a feeling that there will be a mod to make all the NPC's in the game Black and so it now becomes a white supremacist wet dream.

Homie opens up in the middle of a police department though? These nerds create a game like this then America turns around & wonders why these psychos blast on innocent ppl. Game is pointless and should be pulled.
