Azealia Banks logged off Twitter and made her debut yesterday on Ebro In The Morning. She touched on a variety of topics including cultural appropriation, Iggy Azalea, and T.I. This morning, Iggy responded to Banks’ claims on Twitter:

Special msg for banks: There are many black artists succeeding in all genres. The reason you haven’t is because of your piss poor attitude. Your inability to be responsible for your own mistakes, bullying others, the inability to be humble or have self control. It’s YOU! you created your own unfortunate situation by being a bigot and don’t have the mental capacity to realize yet. Probably never will. Now! rant, Make it racial! make it political! Make it whatever but I guarantee it won’t make you likable & THATS why ur crying on the radio. Enjoy continuing to bang your head against that metaphoric brick wall & Savor this attention. I’m the only way you get ANY. You’re poisonous and I feel genuinely sorry for you because it’s obvious at this point you are a MISERABLE, angry human being. Regards!

all these blog dudes been slaves to labels since dj drama got taken down.....labels got 'em all by the balls

Just like Azealia Banks said in the interview, this whole thing has been reduced to "Banks vs Iggy"

when it's far beyond that.

The thing is this isn't Iggy's fault, she's a pawn. We should be ashamed of the people who allowed this to happen.

Only got the chance to watch the first 15 min, shaping up to a be a good interview. I respect her for not being afraid to say real ****, even though it goes against what's accepted in the industry. Iggy is just the face at the moment, this culture appropriation issue goes way beyond her.

It's the system

Most rappers don't get the effort they put in to making Iggy successful

Azelia is going at the wrong person.

It's the same system that says black actors aren't popular overseas, so let's not get them to be leads in movies.

They're both less than desirable listens, I'm not a fan of either. But, at the same time they both have a point, but the issue isn't necessarily Iggy, she's just the "it" girl right now, so if Azalea or whatever her name is wants to put a face to the situation then it would be Iggy, because she is "popular". But both of them aren't for me, regardless of their color, they're just slaves to the industry. We all lose.

im not a fan of either but this ish popped up on MTV Jams and its flames idc idc idc

I feel what she's saying, but I just can't get into her music sounds like something feminine dudes would twirl to.

It would be easier not to get mad at Iggy if she didn't say things like "runaway slave master" directly bite things from other people, put on a fake accent, didn't go on that stupid tweet rant.

But she makes it so difficult to ignore.

How you gonna say Bill Cosby situation was too timely? White people watched the show and swept that story under the rug he was regularly appearing on jimmy fallon etc. Hannibal burress was the one that brought it back up. Also to say its too timely isn't fair to the alleged victims .

And the whole "two girls are talking , mind your business ".....her slandering iggy is quite literally his "business"

Dont know if I believe she stood next to T.I backstage to see if tip would do anything also ...too many camera phones in this day and age to believe that story. Especially Clifford ....making fun of tinys reading was beyond classless....with that being said her music is good and she should in the future focus on that because she is a very talented artist
