Gunman kills self after 2 NYPD cops fatally shot ‘execution style’ as ‘revenge’ for Garner

I used to get pulled over once a week because my car was decent and they saw a young looking dude driving.

No tints or anything... Now I'm sure it might go up to 2x a week.

I live in Crown Heights. So I'm accustomed to harassment, I shouldn't be, but I am. Sadly.

Idk what's next for our young minorities now :smh:

You know me and my friend had a long debate about this. Its all cops. The ones that are worse are the ones that do their own people dirty. Too many instances where black/hispanic cops are locking up and disrespecting their own people. Not only their people but their upbringing. Half these cops grew up in the hood and they know how it is...still doesn't stop them from doing what they do.

oh no ... they made the cops more mad ... should just let them kill and get away with it so they dont get more upset and kill even more ppl..........



all cops skin color doesnt matter..... my neighbor is a pig , a few years younger then me , works for the next city over
. cool af , never disrespected and i do lots of fantastic illegal activities
. i still dont like him.... im used to the harrasement from the sheriffs... they never used to mess with me but now im used to being put in the back of the cop car when i get pulled.

I hate to say it but when has anything ever been solved with peace? Because it seems to be just a way to kill off the reactions to whatever happens before it really gets rough for those in power. I'm not saying this is right either but...the shoe was bound to shift to other foot eventually after so long.

How the hell are people condoning this. Yall flip out when they kill an inocent man aka Eric Garner , but its okay to kill two innocent cops who had nothing to do with it?

this thread is sickening , its obviously not right what they did too Garner , but killing two innocent cops is no better. Its gonna make everything way worse and it puts on hold all of the progress that was being made through protests. Some of you dudes are rediculous

nothing has been solved with peaceful protest but a lot has been accomplished from taking action peacefully

there are plenty of ways to go out and make a chance that dont involve violence 
 
And you people saying nothing has been solved with peaceful protests . What about the civil rights movement. What about the suffrage movement allowing woman the right to vote.
 
I don't hate white cops. I just don't understand these crooked cops. I speak from experience. There's just so many of them. Which is why I question people. Our morals. Some people should not be given that badge. Some are given the badge because the government needs the manpower and not for the right reasons.

Give certain people an inch, and they try to take a foot

Gandhi's concept of nonviolent civil disobedience is intriguing. There are many ways to get a point across without succumbing to violence and shock value that drives the oppressor to using more force and detainment. The NDAA is real. You don't want to give them credence for that stuff.
 
This is an issue that cannot be solved by simply doing one thing (peaceful protesting etc) it is rather a complex social issue that involves a conglomerate of necessary actions to take place such as protesting, attempting to reevaluate the judicial systems selection of fit jury candidates to decide on such sensitive issues, as well as mentoring within minority communities to lead them away from paths involving illegal activity to make a living or be apart of as a social group which will avoid higher police presence in these areas

Your right but in this case, this mostly isn't one of them. You can't respond to the killing of a specific group of people by being peaceful in return. I used to have the same hopeful thoughts, that everything will be resolved peacefully. 10 years later and it's open season now more than ever. Some of you won't get it or won't care to get it but us minorities...we are pretty much walking targets in this country. We have a chance of "fitting the description" everywhere we go and things just turning into **** for us. Someone was bound to be tired of it.

It's not right. It's sad but that's how the world works. These two officers had nothing to do with what happened but eventually someone was bound to say "so what?" in response.

We can talk about the Civil Rights movement....let's be honest, MLK had to get shot thru his damn head in broad daylight before that final step was taken. That's far from peacefull.

Fixing the conduction of the judicial system is the most important, you guys can't forget that the verdicts in the garner/brown cases were all decided by the jury and the jury alone. More minorities should be selected as jury candidates, as well as other criteria needed in choosing a capable jury for such racially sensitive social trials
