I hate it had to be them but my immense dislike of NYPD doesn't really care and I'm dominican so relating my culture to the Hispanic cops one means nothing. A pig is a pig.

Just like the family of the in innocent men the system kills and imprison, I pray for the family of the dead cops. They suffer the most.
 
It's well known that the ambulance will respond much quicker if you mention that person in danger/hurt is a cop. Simply saying a cop is dying will get a speedy response in any neighborhood.

If you ever got a loved one dying being sure to just say they're a cop or say a cop is dying too if you want a real chance of saving them of course then you'll have to deal with lying about it but it can save someone's life.

All I said is I don't care about a police officer's life being taken when they don't care about taking ours.

Man it's a sad day too see two lives get taken and people applaud it happening, RIP to these guys. Yes many lives have been taken by the act's of some police officers, but senseless retaliation will just lead to the police having a reason to use force. Only true way I feel to end the injustice that are happening is by changing the top of the command chain. Taking out two cops at the street level doesn't do much; in a few months two new guys are going to replace them and once again nothing has changed.

Probably posted already... But come on now in the midst of all the tension going on for the past few weeks, you would think cops look to ease up on their aggressiveness....

People see things like this... Peaceful protests are the way to go in my opinion, but like some other dudes said in here, how is most of the general public supposed to feel sympathy when cops are STILL doing nonsense? Shortly thereafter?

I am sure that those cops were thugs. I bet that just moments before their deaths, they had robbed someone under the guise of asset forfeiture.

We have millions and millions of great non cops in this country, why focus on one bad apple?

Being a civilian is a dangerous job, occasionally a few civilians will shoot some cops.

One of those cops had drugs in his system. The cop was a known drug user. He took over the counter cold pills once and cold pills are used to make meth!

Rush Limbaugh told me that the cops had just broken the man's jaw. The shooter was afraid for his life.

One of those cops got suspended from school in 8th grade for one whole day. Did you know that both of those cops did not get 4.0 GPAs in high school?

The cops were walking too slow, The cops were walking too fast. The cops were not wearing immaculately cleaned, bespoke business suits, their clothing was threatening.

The cops made furtive movements.

The shooter had marital problems, he was under stress.

Why don't cops talk about corruption among the Chicago PD? Why don't cops care about their high divorce rate?

Other police officers and their families are only angry because of outside agitators.

Show the public respect and you won't be shot.

The civilian was trained to shoot cops in the head. He was just following his training!





Did I satirize every pro cop talking point or did I miss some?

I don't condone the lost of innocent lives whatsoever, but if you think the actions of this dude has changed my mind on anything then you've got another thing coming...

Dude is no doubt a scumbag for taking innocent lives and I don't wish to stand anywhere near him on this but the differences in reactions is definitely interesting. You can say that the people doing the rioting, die-ins(traffic jams), and most recently the violence will surely not have an impact on anything but sadly we all know that that is all that recieves results. People who didn't seem to care of the news of innocent civillians being killed, sure do now that they are in a blue uniforms. The tone set amongst the protest has definitely changed a bit. Most protest turn violent to edge some type of change, Tibetans used to and still to this day practice self-immolation as a way of protest, not cause it makes any sense but because it raises awareness for the value of life 

This was wrong but just as wrong, innocent lives= innocent lives, anyone who had a plight with that and didn't care before probably does now. Don't know what his true intent was but if it was truly towards awareness then he might have actually done what he was trying to do. People who could feel safe while civillians were being killed would probably feel less safe if it were happening to the cops who are there to protect them, which would make it a real state issue

I don't like what he did, but I am not shocked by his disorderly act or peoples reach for civil order, for me this is just another " This whatcha get when" moment *Shrugs*

With this whole race issue going on. It gets worse when talked about. These friendly protests are causing more trouble than peace. They're crowding subways and highways. This ***** the days of people going and leaving work... Those who are indifferent to the whole situation. I'm positive that after these incidents they're going to play against the protests.. The situation in Hong Kong is the same... The old generation is not with the whole peace activism. The government needs the tweek.... Give them hate and not those who are just as powerless as yourself..

Racism is man made. Let's stop making it.
