I hate some white cops because my bad experiences have been with them

Black and Latino cops have treated me like a human and showed respect.

Some white cops talk to me like I'm a child or an animal.

1. It's already bad as **** out here when cops are skating a MURDER on camera

2. So one man makes it worse for his whole race? Why didn't white people have to worry about things getting worst when the the couple in Las Vegas killed two officers execution style?

3. Those who keep saying "things are getting worst" either enjoy promoting and supporting the mistreatment of blacks ....if you are black and saying it you're just ******* scared of the dominant society


But seriously I hope the minorities caping for these mogs get a halo flown over your head so they won't view you as the _ you are cause they'll pull that trigger on you just as fast as the next colored man


These two officers would still be alive if that officer was charged in the Garner murder

Also my brothers out here with a clean record need to practice their right to carry. Gun sales went up when Obama got elected and after ferguson. It wasn't minorities buying up all the weapons from these stores either. PRACTICE YOUR RIGHT TO CARRY. Don't let one of these scared fools take your life off their racisr *** assumptions.

Basically where my feelings are cause minority cops didnt even speak out against their own after garner or mike brown was killed. Same with tamir rice or that brother shopping in Walmart.

Minority cops gotta do better and stop being quiet when their counterparts do wrong

Your thinking typifies the problem in the respective parties when society becomes divided along racial lines over an injustice....that is to say: "**** the other side."

You ought not to feel this way.  You ought to decry this senseless violence and want the perpetrators to be bought to justice.

Listen: there will always be hate, and prejudice...but as Americans we believe in the rule of law, and that the law SHOULD apply equally.

The tragedy in these recent cases is not that black men are getting cut down just by virtue of being black...that will continue to happen in varying degrees due to the hate that resides in the hearts of men....it's that the legal system has failed to apply the proper punishments or even due process (failure to indict) to perpetrators of crimes against black people, which in the end only embolden's those who choose to use minimal justification to extinguish black lives and ultimately engender's more crimes against blacks in the future.

Things won't change until blacks practice group economics like other minorities have. The black dollar goes in every community except our own.

I've watched how Mexicans practiced it in my city. Like they took a side of town and turned it into their own filled with their own businesses. Have a lot of respect for them brothers and hope to see the black community do the same one day

They do speak out, some even attended protests and talked to the media covering the events. I distinctly remember one black female cop who spoke under condition of anonymity to the BBC about the working atmosphere during the Ferguson protests (she works in the St Louis area) and the general lack of understanding and empathy that's present among her white peers when it comes to policing minority communities.

The problem is that you won't see those cops on the main TV networks because it goes against the narrative of the "overblown black victimhood." It drives home the point that policing of communities historically considered undesirable has a very oppressive element to it, and it's something that the authorities would rather sweep under the rug.

Until a crazy shows up and acts upon their feelings.

This is true but it's easier said than done. In my military experience rank trumps all... You don't speak upwards to anybody. You take orders...or you go to jail. In the police department you lose your job.
So in my opinion it's not about the minorities speaking out but the higher ranking officers are the ones with the power to make the difference. If a minority says anything the white officers who are the majority will just disown them.


In the military the racist white people are just that...they are racist. they do look at their minority counterparts as brothers but they see us as the exception and they still hold on to their racist views as a whole.

You're so wrong. A separatist attitude isn't going to help the black community. Have all the money and black-owned businesses you like...as long as the black man is vilified and an overall social environment exists where crimes against blacks are permissible...the same thing is going to continue to happen.

You can't cordon the black community off from the rest of the world...economically, or socially.  It's impractical at best, and will only worsen social issues at worst.

Keep every black dollar in black communities all you like...Just means the funerals will be nicer when the cops cut you down. You have to be integrated into larger to society in order to have a voice in changing the society at large.
 
Can't even count the chick if she hid her identity :lol: I mean I know the pressures these officers face but damn. Also the problem is these officer jobs the best jobs these dudes can get so they cape outta fear of being pushed out.

Being an officer > $12 an hour job

Let the pride go to have a stable job with good benefits. Never been in that position where my pride was put in question to keep me living an honest life so I can't judge.

Hopefully if im ever put in thst position I don't cave

And to keep it real when segregation ended it pumped up white businesses and killed all the black ones cause they was fiendin to spend their dollar in those establishments

This is one of the things that bothers me the most about this whole situation. The lack of balls some minorities have. They're so scared to step up and be a voice. Even in this thread it shows.

What bothers me so much too is social media. It serves as people creating the propaganda themselves. Everyone immediately follows the popular opinion trying to be down with the crowd and bash anyone who's opinion is different.

I went on Twitter and couldn't believe that some people were playing the victim card. Are you ******* kidding me? I'm talking about Flipping this whole situation back on minorities, talking about minority on minority crime. If that is your reaction to this whole situation, you are missing the big picture here. That really sits with me wrong.

Like I've said...if every dollar a black person made stayed in a black-owned business....how does that help the social injustice of violence against black people.

Really? Look at things being posted in here and also in the other thread that got locked. There are screencaps of FB/Twitter/IG comments of people condoning what happened...not to mention certain board members throwing up :pimp: in the wake of yesterday's incidents.

It's disgusting and pathetic ALL AROUND.

Why don't cops talk about corruption among the Chicago PD? Why don't cops care about their high divorce rate?

Other police officers and their families are only angry because of outside agitators.

Show the public respect and you won't be shot.

The civilian was trained to shoot cops in the head. He was just following his training!

Two beautiful beautiful posts. Glad to see some people get it. People go to any length to assassinate a young dead black mans character just to justify a murder.

I feel bad for anyone murdered, I feel bad for these two cops.

I don't however feel like I should care more cause they're cops.

Funny I read an article saying NYPD turned their back on their mayor because it was "open season" on cops right now and they blame him. That angered me, cause it's been open season on us young black men forever and nobody feels bad, they even try and justify it.
