How many wrongful death police killings have there been in the last decade? Maybe 50. Les't just say it was 100
Compare that to all of the times the police interacted with the public over that decade.
Its not even comparable.

What are you talking about man, what I just said could be applied to anything topic not just this. And what makes you assume that I support racial injustice? Because I don't support those innocent cops being killed by that lunatic? How ignorant are you?

I'm not saying I am completely opposed to social media, where did you get that notion? I simply stated one of the negatives to it that I believe is true. Stop making assumptions and saying things for me and read coherently before you respond to me

When it constantly involves the same group YES it is a problem. And it's more than just killings cause there's brothers that's survived police beatdowns. Let's not talk about police that lied about **** and thankfully video evidence exonerated the victim.

Folks anger with the police isn't a fad and isn't this cool thing. In my world this **** is real and fortunately for me I lived it so I don't have to be some police apologist.

Like I the two cops who got killed were probably good men but unfortunately they're apart of a group that have been ******* with a group of people to the point it pushed a man to commit these acts. Like I said in the other thread violence begets violence.

Hopefully minority officers grow some balls and start speaking out against their white counterparts instead of following the "code" ...

Ahhh deflection. First off most of the Chicago gang members are killing each other. Also the courts aren't letting a killer walk free like Darren wilson and the white officer in New York city. Systemic oppression is the reason these Chicago hoods even exist.

You keep saying that violence begets violence but the point of my post is that the police brutality that you speak of is a minority of the behavior that police display.
If you add up all of the times that the police brutalized someone throughout history(including the 50s, 60s when they were beating people for racial reasons), it is not even close to the percentage of times that cops did their job right.

That's like saying a basketball player who shoots 92% from the field, for his career, is a bad shooter, because the night you saw him play he shot 5% from the field.
Regardless of how bad he was that night it does not make him a bad shooter.
And I understand where people are coming from. Those two killings are that 5% bad shooting night.

My problem with it is how we are selectively outraged ONLY when its the cops who do the killing.
When it's Loc Dog shooting up the block its always "people get killed ereday b"

why are you trying to diminish the issue though? i can do the same - the killing of cops are even less numerous than killings by cops

so what that it's a minority of the behavior that police display? it's still a problem that negatively affects a certain segment of the population in a disproportionate way

crooked, abusive police are a big problem. don't try to sweep it under the rug

Not to say what he did is right. But seriously I cannot stand how when a officer dies the media blows it out of porpotion when police brutality is happening everyday. F*** the cops!! Coming from NYC this is regular. NYPD are just filthy.

i mean... the two most recent cases of people being killed by cops has been heavily covered by the media

so i dont see how you can see you cant stand how this is covered then imply that if it was the other way around it wouldnt be covered 

the american media is trash and blows everything out of proportion

DA in ferguson allowed false witnesses to sway the jury and then said he won't charge them for the false statements.
 
A documentary on the daily lives of police officers over a several month span is warranted now more than over. Cops-esque but unedited and transparent toward everything that's going on on the job on a day to day basis.

I agree that in many cases A LOT of nyc cops are straight douches and ********...but I also feel as if you're not breaking the law and comprehend if they ask you something that they're not completely out to tarnish your life either...it's a two way street
 
i fear we gonna see alot more of this in the coming months. dude retaliated because of what happened with the Eric Garner situation, dude was in a gang as well
