The album you shouldn't sleep on if you're a musician as well as an artist - D'angelo "Black Messiah

This album is so refreshing. Jazz drums on top of edgy guitars/spanish guitars. HIgh falsetto vocals. He is hard to put into comparison because his sound is so unique. But definitely a joy to listen to. Not sure about the background info on him or his career, but this album is a success. Oh, btw, Upright bass runs on every song pretty much. Shoutout to D'angelo. Questlove also playing on the album
