Anybody else looking forward to this movie? Just seen the trailer with Marvin Gaye's inner city blues playing in the background. Ish gave me chills. The movie looks promising and I think it might be a sleeper hit

A buddy saw a screener. Said it was a real snooze fest. But Jessica Chastain and a fake Brooklyn accent? Sign me up.

trailer I saw the other night looked like a very boring drama. with that title, I'm expecting goodfellas type stuff, not whats eating gilbert grape
 
Dam I wanted to see it because it looked like a mobster/tough guy movie but dam

Maybe the eye candy that is jessica chastain will make it bearable to watch.
 
A movie about 1980s NYC and you leave out the crack epidemic, cats in Harlem getting money, Supreme Team and Fat Cat? I'll pass. Call me when they make a movie with the above guidelines
 
Just watched it and loved it. If you're expecting a bunch of murders, then you're gonna be in for a rude awakening.

The acting was great, excellent cinematography, and it was a very good story. The score was also fantastic.
