It's sad to say but if at 16yrs old you are willing to put yourself in a life or death situation for sneakers it probably was a wrap for you potential wise.

This would make them even more difficult for people without credit/debit cards to buy the sneakers, in turn making them even more limited. They should only release these shoes online.
so damn limited??? lol u sure
NO sympathy for thieves but man, I wonder if this would go on today if these sneakers weren't so damn limited.
Another L for OHIO
disagree, he thought he could probably get away with it, which is why he attempted it. i think every sane person knows that robbing someone is wrong, its the position ppl are in which causes them to not care about doing wrong. in this case he wanted the shoes sooooo bad that he did the wrong thingthat's an assumption, not a fact. If he truly "knew" the difference between right and wrong, he wouldn't have attempted to rob the dude for his kicks. It was his choice and he paid for it with his life..obviously not a person who "knew" better.
yes because nobody at age 16 has ANY remote chance to change for the better as they mature with age...
Limited enough in theory that this kid wasn't able to buy a pair and had at resort to robbing someone for a pair.

nope, kid must not have tried any other options and decided he was gon be able to get em for free.

exactly
There is something fishy about this story. The kid had a gun pulled out and pointed at someone, but the concealed carry permit holder had time to take out his gun and fire. No shots were fired by the kid.
I don't think any guns were initially pointed at anyone, probably tucked in his waist band and shown to the older men.
I think the permit holder just wanted an excuse to kill someone.
One more dangerous, moral-less criminal off the streets. Society is safer now, so what's not to celebrate?I understand the dude got what's coming to him and while most of you guys also seem to feel that way, some of y'all going overboard like y'all celebrating his death.
Some of y'all favorite rappers that y'all be suckin off done worse than try to rob someone at gunpoint.
I get it, dude did the right thing by defending himself.
But to the dudes acting like this is something to celebrate, it's kinda lame.
I'm sure the 16 year old never fired a weapon in his life, and the adult that killed him had training before this incident. Stuff like this happens all the time when a robber pulls a gun in front of a trained victimexactly
no way i pull my **** out first and end getting smoked.
it's a tragedy all around. the dude who killed him was well within his means and his actions were justified.Since when has celebrating death been the cool thing to do? Any violent loss of human life is a tragedy. It hurts that people think this way. Yeah its ****** up that the kid had to attempt an armed robbery and every man has a right to defend himself but we shouldn't applaud the death of a child due to either bad parenting, negligence & hyper materialism or even just being influenced by the wrong crowd. It's all tragic.
It was because of the shoes, fam. There wouldn't of been any "pulling out the gun" if it wasn't for the Jays.
Did he try to rob a cop? I don't know how ones views can be consistent when one is discussing two totally different situations. It's like comparing apples and oranges. It's funny to see the celebration in this thread for the robber killed by a civilian defending himself and then go to the other thread and dudes calling for the officer to have shot this other robbers hand to disable him.
How there were other things the officer could've done to get the situation under control.
Dudes can't even be consistent with what they believe in.
They should only release these shoes online at this point.
What kind of dummy commits an armed robbery for sneakers it's never that serious especially for some poor quality Jordan's that youll be able to get no problem 2-3mobths from now after a restock for the same 200$
I'd be so damn ashamed if my kid died doing some **** like this.
Parents dropped the ball.
Sad story.
