i graduated from usf. i dont think he was a student here and hes from ft myers by FGCU not usf. and read my post above. hes definitely the opposite of what he portrays. hes not begging for attention, hes acting for a paycheck. and its working.

The issue I have with Plies is that he is portraying himself as an idiot. I know he's having fun with it and hell we all get a little ignorant at times. But save that for when you get drunk with your homeboys. He just looks stupid and we all know it's not consistent with his educational background.
Homie is from the hood, tho. I don't think he speaks the kings english in real life, but he probably sounds more like a regular cat from the hood that played football and avoided the trap. He doesn't need to sound like a complete cornball, just a happy medium.
However you feel about Ross, he does portray himself as an intelligent human being. The character in his music is similar to him in real life as far as being on top of things and being a leader. Yes, he talks about things he has not done, but his rap personality and his real personality are similar from what I see.

For most people, job interviews feel like an "act". From sitting with correct posture, to avoiding any verbal pauses, to looking people dead in the eye, to smiling more than normal, to portraying yourself as some flawless individual that has turned water into wine. If that's not an act to you, cool. But it is for most people.
