I wouldn't call it a compilation album. It always had like a Jay and Friends type feel to me. I know, Jay said years ago it was gonna be a ROC album but Jay is on it too much.

Jay Z fans love to act like certain albums "don't count" for whatever reason lol most ppl don't even acknowledge best of both world's existence now this not a Jay album [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji] every subpar album somehow get excused it's crazy

To me it's a compilation for that reason. It's Jay and the whole camp. Unlike his other albums that had a few features on 'em.

By far the BEST rap intro ever IMO.  Just another example of how and why Jay and the ROC were running the rap game during this timeframe <>.
