I might be wrong for this but I almost wish this dude is white so that America can take notice this is not a black problem.

Just because someone can talk doesn't mean that can't have difficulty breathing.
Mall-cop logic. :smh:
 
They weren't cops. Just guards. Can they hold a man down like that? That family is about to get paid. I hope they make that mall close down and those guards have garnished wages the rest of their sad lives
 
This is happening everyday now, it seems like even if they fail at graduating police academy and they don't make the cut, they still get to leave there with sufficient enough training in how to take innocent lives and then get to apply it at their mall security jobs. :smh: more disturbing still these are the people that are appointed to "protect" us. |I twenty five years old, he died before he lived, that's sad, rest in peace.

i mean when i learned first aid first thing i learned about someone choking was listen to the strength of their cough/voice and obviously, you could tell in this instance dude is struggling since its a weakened/muffled sound. he's got a knee in his back, that's gonna make it tough to breathe, right? there has to be a better way to detain someone than some of the methods used this past year.

A lot of people are about to start escaping from police custody for saying they can't breathe. If you're a cop now and you struggle to subdue someone, get them on the ground and they say "I can't breathe". Do you just uncuff them and stand them up?  What do you guys suggest?

Or this guy could just not criminally trespass at the mall and resist. But then you'll have people blame the cops for people going around committing crimes too.
 
Apples and oranges if you're going to compare mall cops to real police. Level of authority, training, hiring etc entirely different to my knowledge
