Marino-esque. :pimp:

What's in common in those last 2 gifs? Had a 10 point lead and lost both games.

:x

By the way fellas, we should congratulate Philbin on a phenomenal job with the offensive line. PFF's 2014 OL rankings were released and...
32. Miami Dolphins (21st)
Pass Blocking Ranking: 32nd, Run Blocking Ranking: 31st, Penalties Ranking: 29th
Stud: When Branden Albert went down things did not go well. He was in All-Pro contention before the injury struck and it was a huge blow to lose him.
Dud: In preseason Dallas Thomas (-32.7) struggled at guard. So naturally, being forced to start at right tackle did not go well as he was overmatched and routinely beaten.
Breakdown: Just horrible. The 210 combined sacks, hits and hurries they allowed were most in the league and they weren’t much better in the run game. The musical chairs that saw Mike Pouncey to guard and Ja’Waun James to left tackle had a detrimental effect and it was brutal to watch them. It’s a young group that needs to play better

By the way, still steaming over seeing Vontae Davis flourish for Indy. You think we could've used him over a "Jamar Taylor" this season? Thanks Philbin.

Why? He wouldn't be the Vontae Davis he is in Indy... because the Dolphins didn't know how to use him and he was getting burnt every other game remember?

I hardly agree with this guy... but this runs in line with what I posted to finns...

@OmarKelly

If I'm Steve Ross I tell Philbin "you asked for Mike Wallace, said you'd use him properly. Be a leader & make it work cause I paid for it.

@OmarKelly

I'm pretty sure Ross isn't oblivious to the ridiculous exodus of talented players the Dolphins have dumped because Philbin can't coach them

@OmarKelly

At some point Joe Philbin needs to realize the problem isn't Marshall, Wallace, Bush, Dansby, Vontae, Burnett, Smith etc and that it's HIM.

@OmarKelly

The GM's primary job is talent acquisition. But if GMs keep giving Joe Philbin talented players & he can't coach them....it's an issue

Now we've said this for years, at least I have. I'm just ready for these playoff games then a good off season at this point.

Yeah Coyle and Joe keep letting our DB's line up 50 yards off the LOS

Dansby, Burnett, Bush, Smith, Davis, Marshall... we keep letting go great players and replacing them with inferior talent. No wonder Philbin has a under .500 record

Marshall, Wallace and Landy in the slot... my gawd.

I'm fine with Dansby... Misi is equal. My biggest thing is getting Jordan opposite Jenkins.

Sean Smith... see my Davis comment. Coyle is the worst.

With **** LeBeau available, you guys think there's any chance we make a move for him?

Don't you think S is a bigger need over RB? Look at the teams left in the playoffs. All have safeties that are way higher caliber than a Reshad freakin Jones or Delmas. Delmas is a 1 year stopover so not even sure we have a guy right now.

Must be a priority to get a playmaker at safety and 1-2 CB's, Jamar and Will cannot be counted on and Grimes is getting up there.

I have a name for you all.

Devin McCourty. :nerd:

New England's safety, he's a FA. 27. Try to pry him away from NE, make us better, and them worse in one move.

IF, they don't bring him back. Hopefully Revis takes all their money. :lol:

I think safety is a big need... I drafted Drummond who, imo, is a beast.

Gurley is a game changer, where he was drafted there wasn't a better safety. And there certainly wasn't a better safety than Gurley. With Miller ONLY getting, maximum, 15 touches they need a Gurley to take the other 10-15 touches.

Jones is a top 5 safety as well, Delmas won't be back. (Earl, Kam, Weddle, Jones, Mccourty) ... he did in 12 games what some couldn't do over a full season. Also, in FA, I had the Dolphins big pickup being Mccourty and Drummond would be depth to that because they need it at safety as well.

I also picked up two solid corners and Jamar is good at nickle, he just got hurt.

I honestly think defensive tackle, stopping the run/freeing up linebackers to make plays is just as big of an issue as corner is not more so... everyone ran against the defense.

I had that name before you brother. lol.

Safety, go pick up McCourty from the Pats.

Would equally be happy with this draft:

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 19 (CLE): Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State (A-)
Round 2 Pick 16 (K.C.): Ereck Flowers, OT, Miami (Fla.) (A)
Round 2 Pick 20 (PHI): Ellis McCarthy, DT, UCLA (A-)
Round 3 Pick 14: Andy Gallik, C, Boston College (B-)
Round 3 Pick 20 (PHI): Carl Davis, DT, Iowa (B-)
Round 3 Pick 26 (BALT): T.J. Yeldon, RB, Alabama (A)
Round 4 Pick 15: Cam Thomas, CB, Western Kentucky (C)
Round 4 Pick 26 (BALT): Jordan Richards, SS, Stanford (B)
Round 5 Pick 14: Roberto Augayo, K, Florida State (A)
Round 6 Pick 15: Adam Shead, OG, Oklahoma (B-)
Round 7 Pick 15: Mike Sadler, P, Michigan State (D+)

You see how I'm drafting and what's important for the team this year. See the cowboys strategy and I believe this team stacks up quite well.

I don't believe they can trade down as much as I do, although NE did it for a few years straight... I think it's more important to collect a few. (at least two additional)

Makes sense, and yeah D-Line is a concern since they got wasted the last 5-6 weeks, need to shore that up big time. McCourty is intriguing, weaken the division rival, hope he's not a scheme guy though.

I kinda think Dorsett would fit with us better. His speed would be perfect.

I won't be mad if we take Duke, **** I'll go crazy, just not the need, as of now.
