 @ the Miami Dolphins.

Sports radio starting in the morning is going to be MAGICAL!

Yesterday’s game showed me EVERYTHING I’ve already known, but gives just the perfect example.

WR Sammy Watkins gets hurt, early in the game. He is out, entire rest of the game.

The Buffalo Bills OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER attack Brice McCain. Does Joe Philbin adjust? Nope. Does he put Grimes on Harvin? Nope. Double Harvin? Nope. Put a LBer underneath? Nope. Safety help? Nope. They do the same thing, over and over and over, even tho it was obvious that’s where Buffalo was going to attack.

Buffalo attacking, a weakness. Do we? Do we ever attack a weak corner, safety, linebacker matchup? Do we run the ball over and over and over when it’s working? Do we attack backup Olineman that start for other teams by blitzing or stunting in their direction?

What honestly does Philbin/Coyle/Lazor do that prepares these players?

27-8. We get a 3 and out. Need the ball back, the Bills are punting. SIMPLE. Walt Aikens (a 2nd year player) runs into the punter. Do you know why that doesn’t happen to the Seahawks, or the Patriots, or the Broncos? Because they are prepared. WHY DO YOU EVEN BOTHER TUSHING THE PUNTER, AT ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL????????????? You get the ball back, you tell your team “punt return, safe”. No one goes anywhere near the punter, and now you try to get back into the game. (wasn’t gonna happen, but you get what I’m sayin)

The continually make mental mistakes because none of them are taught any differently. Missed tackles on defense, drops on offense. Oline penalties. This is all coaching. All of it. Yes, players need to execute, no question, but if they aren’t being taught every detail, like other teams are, guess who’s going to win.

Dallas Thomas and Joe Philbin both have jobs. Stephen Ross, either get it right, or pass the sticks. He spent all this money, getting all this talent, and he’s wasting it on Joe ******* Philbin.

And I ask every year, why does Philbin take soooooooo God damn long to use his draft picks? Parker FINALLY getting some work (that’s good) but 2nd round pick, inactive. Douglas at least is playing on the Oline. Bobby McCain, nowhere to be found. Ajayi, out. Thompson, off the team. Lippett, inactive. What the **** already? 2nd round pick on Jordan Philips, and we inactivate him, what the **** for?????????? We traded for Kenny Stills, does Philbin know he’s on the roster????? Why is Greg Jennings getting time on the field so he can drop every pass that hits him square in the hands, but Kenny Stills can’t get looks?

I see rookies EVERY SUNDAY making plays, why the God damn hell do we let these worthless coaches leave them on the bench nonstop? So they can play Dallas Thomas, Walt Aikens, Kelvin Sheppard, Greg Jennings, Brice McCain, WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTT the hell?

At some point, make a God damn move. McCain struggling? Ok, then get another guy in there. If he sucks, oh well, so did the other guy. Don’t just keep trotting him out there thinkin anything will change. I cannot stand that mentality. McCain had a bad day, it happens, I get it, but you don’t just leave him there for 60 minutes getting roasted, and not adjust ONCE. Jesus Christ. You’re a coach, do SOMETHING.

If Philbin went out and punched a ref in the face, at least I would know he’s alive and searching for an answer. This **** head isn’t searching for jack ****.

Dolphins get down to the 2 yard line. 1st and goal. Lamar Miller just got you to the goal line. ZERO carries. 4 fade routes.  :x :smh: :frown: Come on God damn it. Miller had 38 yards, on 7 carries. 5.5 yards a rush. We needed 2 yards, with 4 downs to get them. Not one carry. Jonas Gray, not one carry. Nope. Bunch of fade routes, with like ELEVEN defenders in the end zone. Jesus, they didn’t even try the zone read stuff with Miller/Tannehill. Not even an attempt. Not even a fake. Nothing. Just fades. :smh:

We have plenty of talented pieces, we have no one that can teach them and coach them how to do their jobs best, every play. Mistakes happen, we all understand that, but over and over and over again things happen, and the coaches do LITERALLY nothing to improve it. Why do they still have jobs?

Sadly, a lot of talent will be leaving us very soon. Wake, Grimes, Albert, Jennings are not long for this roster. We’ll need to replace a #1 CB, a LT, and a #1 pass rusher. 3 of the crown jewels of a franchise. Couple years ago, we had all 4 shiny and new, but guess who wasted all that time? We’re literally wasting guys’s primes. We burn thru draft picks and don’t keep any of them. Nolan Carroll has played pretty good in Philly. Odrick looks ok in Jax. Clay certainly looks good in Buffalo. Vontae in Indy. Hartline is dead in Cleveland, but that’s Cleveland, that’s his own fault. Pretty soon Lamar Miller is going to be beasting in Dallas, or Indy. Olivier Vernon is going to be a great signing for the Patriots. Someday we’ll probably watch Tannehill get the Texans or Cowboys into the playoffs. Landry will go to the Giants and flourish.

Or, we can finally get off our ***** and fire these worthless coaches that can’t manage timeouts, or adjust, or attack weaknesses, or cover up our own, or teach situational football like don’t even rush the punter when you need the ball back, or keep feeding the RB when he’s getting yards in chunks.

And what really sucks is, he’ll somehow figure out a way to beat the Jets, and everyone will think everything’s ok, and they’ll go in their bye week, and all that, and Ross will leave everything alone, and we’ll limp to 7-8 wins, and then for some unknown reason, he’ll stick with Philbin/Coyle yet another year, thinking something will change for the better next year. Rinse and repeat.

I agree with everything said here, 100%. This loss falls squarely on Philbins shoulders.

A few very important things that contributed to this loss, imo:

Deactivating Jordan Philips? He has been a bright spot for us, the only sack so far this year. In addition to being a solid figure on the defensive front.

Brandon Albert being gone really hurts our Oline. Tannehill was washed from the left side. A healthy Brandon Albert allows us to do a bit more offensively.

Jamar Taylor cannot be that bad.

Stop throwing the ball on 1st and second down. This is going to get our QB killed.

It all starts with Philbin. He's stubborn, and refuse to make adjustments according to the climate of the game. Why did we have our QB playing with

Been saying it over and over, ownership is letting us down. Where is Ross at? Why does he not hold Joe accountable? Why does he 'like' him? He must like failure. Weird for a billionaire.

Sme stuff I found, or read thru over the weekend that bothers me.

The Pats murked the Bills with their short passing scheme. So what does that mean for Buffalo? Address it, and fix it, right?

Miami came out trying to do the exact same thing as New England, not thinking that literally, Buffalo would have prepared and been more ready to face it.

I mean, really?

Also, that ****** idiot Peterson said that Philbin's interview was one of the best he'd ever seen, that's why Ross stuck with Philbin, rather than canning him and going after Rex.

Ross brings in on all these guys with what real track records of success or greatness? Tannenbaum? Peterson? Coyle, Philbin?

Jesus Christ.

:smh: Just infuriating. This whole team man...

 I feel robbed as a fan. I know fin fans that are way older than me that haven't seen this team do diddly. Why do we love this team so much? I got married this past weekend and one of the freakin songs played was the Dolphins fight song  I don't even know what to think anymore. This team is years away from becoming what the Packers are now, or the Patriots, or the top organizations. Our owner is killing us. The fans were so excited before the season. Now.... people are dipping out already.

Cmon guys the pats started 1-2 last year and got blown out my the cheifs remember? The went on to win the Superbowl. Same could happen to us!! Just believe!!!

Not srs.

Congrats finnns. Best of luck man.

Been with my wife 19 years, married 15. Doesn't feel like a day over 300.

Thank you sir, damn that's crazy. Best man at the wedding included the Dolphins sucking in his toast.

congrats

i feel the same way as well
like why even like this team

Thanks man. Yeah I dunno... I've purged a lot of fins gear in prepping for a new home and I don't feel bad in the least bit. Like... I went from middle or high school to getting married without this team winning one playoff game. That's insane!

I'm immune to the Dolphins sucking. It's just habit. I've been on this earth for 28 years and I could never take the Dolphins seriously. Even the late Marino years. The cycle of QBs after Marino land then ALL the missed draft picks. Don't even get me started on the wasted draft picks.....They have been a mediocre team for my entire lifetime except for a couple of playoff appearances. I will forever be a Dolphins fan but I can't help but laugh at them for god knows how long. Because I refuse to fall for the hype and refuse to act like the Dolphins will ever change. During the bills game, I couldn't help but laugh because it's the same old Dolphins and I won't allow them to ever get me angry. Sad part is, I look forward to AM radio after a Dolphins loss because it's so god damn entertaining hearing everybody complain about the Dolphins when it's their own fault for believing something would actually change :smh:
