OFFICIAL 2015 M!AM! DOLPH!NS SEASON THREAD (6-10) / NEXT:

What I been sayin every week.

Tanne was great today, but has to be PERFECT to barely beat Jags? :smh:

He needed just half a second extra on the throw to Cameron. Otherwise he was throwin dimes all day.

Zero run game. Horrible Oline. No sacks. No turnovers. Billion penalties. And horrible prep. Backup LT, backup S, backup PS CB, did we attack ANY of them?????????????????????????

I mean........

Philbin has to go.

By the way, what game is Suh going to make his Dolphins debut? Not sure why he hasn't seen the field these first two games.

I'm not shocked by who made this comment... but I know a lot of others are thinking it.

"Bortles out dueling Tannehill..."

Essentially Tannehill lost this game.

It's absolutely incredible... look at what happened (see CPs post)... this game and the coaching of it, lack of a run game, lack of defense until about midway through the third is unnacceptable. With this staff, 8-8 will be the norm. It won't change no matter who's QB.

Quick hits:
-Albert... gotta go next season. Can't stay healthy, dude gets injured every game, not reliable. Getting old too
-Dallas Thomas is mediocre, and Jamil was getting beat like a drum all game. James looked bad but he'll be fine
-This coaching staff has to go, I saw no mismatches taken advantage of, Dolphins looked like the 4-12 team today
-I think the defense has 1 whole sack so far this season? LOLOL
-Why doesn't the QB audible? I never see it. Is it the staff not letting him? Jesus, check into something else, we see the jailbreak coming a mile away

I am soooooooooo tired of mediocre. Tired of losing to loser teams. Tired of seeing that team winning the AFC East every season. Nothing will change this year, not with Queasy and co., the sports science junk isn't working either, guys are dropping like flies

P.S. We are with the Vikings as the only two squads without a offensive TD in the 4th quarter so far this season. Can't score in crunch time.

Rant over.

Lost in everything, 17-6.

2 minute drive, Tannehill walks team down the field, sniping Jax whole way.

3 and out, ball back.

Tanne drives them down again, this time for FG. Missed.

Grimes drops easy INT. D gives up soft coverage catch. Then PI. Then refs put ball at 40 instead of 42. 58 yard FG, just barely good.

20-13. Shoulda been 17-16.

Then Tannehill walks right down the field again to start 2nd half, 20-20. Shoulda been 23-17.

Key sequence of good, bad, and unlucky.

We all know our coach sucks, but watching GB/Sea just shows it more and more.

They all gang tackle. Even if they miss a tackle, next guy is right there. We miss a tackle, guy gets 10 extra yards.

Remember we would run hurry up offense, new age, hustle hustle? Where that at?

Tannehill is learning everyday, but he's not elite yet, so can't really have him changing plays, our coaches aren't good enough to prep these players for one play, much less multiple plays, all audibled at the line.

Rodgers, Brady, Luck, Peyton, they all have good coaches that prep their players for all situations. Do our coaches prep our players????????

Balance? 50/50 run pass, or even 55/45 would work. Tanne had 360 throwing, Miller 14 on the ground. :x

This is why I ask you guys to be patient with Tannehill. Jon Gruden could make this offense hum with Lazor, but Philbin kills us with his gutless stupidity and lack of weekly preparation.

Give Tanne time as a QB to grow. He will never be Luck Peyton, or Rodgers. But Brady grew into elite. Brees. Ben. Aikman. Flacco. Guys that grew into the QB's they finished their career, but weren't year 3+. That's why I don't kill him for 1-2 mistakes he makes. He plays good enough to win if defense does their job, or kicker makes his kick, or Jennings catches passes, or coaches use run/pass balance.

Every other QB makes mistakes, but rest of their team does job to back them up. Ryan doesn't get that luxury.

Understand that Jacksonville led the NFL by allowing a whopping 71 sacks last season. Understand these Jags picked up where they left off, yielding five sacks last week. Understand that starting left tackle Luke Joeckel did not play in this game because he was injured.

And then try to digest the fact the Dolphins, armed with all these facts and trends and Jacksonville’s terrible history for blocking, did not have even one sack on Sunday.

None. Zero.

That’s seven quarters in the eight they’ve played this year without a sack for the Miami defense.

:x

Kevin Coyle refused to blitz when Bortles was picking up momentum. I knew we'd be food if our front four couldn't provide pressure. Our DB's (including Brent) were straight food yesterday. In excusable. Especially with Coyle "simplifying" the defensive scheme.

McCain was getting beat like a drum too, and it seemed like everytime we sent pressure, their guys were forming The Great Wall. I saw these same struggles last week in DC, other than the 1 sack and the Wake sack called back, Kirk was chilling. These guys couldn't get to the QB if it was 11 on 1

Looks like we are gonna be last in our division this season if something drastic doesn't change.
