OFFICIAL 2015 M!AM! DOLPH!NS SEASON THREAD (6-10) / NEXT:

seriously, even our first win was pathetic.
.500 gives room for a breather, but really looking forward to more W's.
we need to see a better season record than ending 8-8.

I left that stadium week 1 thinking wow a punt return away from losing to the Skins? And my gut was right after the next 3 games. Seriously, where ever Joe Philbin is, he can go @#%$!# himself. I hate that he even survived 2 seasons as coach. He held back players, didn't motivate anyone, lost us games with bad game management, and is the reason we lost half our most talented players in the last 5 seasons. Imagine Grimes and Vontae, Rishard Matthews actually getting to play these last few years, etc.

A few observations:

Once again, Brandon Albert was our offensive MVP. His return has allowed us to protect or QB, and run with effectiveness.

Not happy with our second half performance. I it was garbage time. But Hoyer did finish with 3 TD's. We have to finish strong, especially going into New England.

Lamar Miller added 15-20lbs throughout the off season, and he's a monster as a result. Still has his acceleration, and his vision. Now he's powering through tackles? That's some scary stuff.

Dan Campbell's influence isn't an aberration. There was a simple play where Brent closed on the ball so fast, although the receiver dropped it, his effort to close spoke to the mentality of this team. Although Brent will give it 100 either way, there is a different mentality when blood is in the water.

This defense benefited from WR's making drops over the past two weeks. This will not always be the case, as we play more fundamentally sound teams.

Speakin of drops, I saw Brandon Marshall have the ball hit him in both hands, in the end zone yesterday, and drop it.

And then there's this......

Quit looking for a flag and try and make a play on the ball. Thought Wallace missed big opportunity here

Wallace throwin his hands up the air for a flag, ball lands a few feet in front of him, in the end zone. No dive, no nothin. :nerd:

Feel like I remember things like that with both these guys.......

In other news, #Dolphins Chris McCain was a late addition today, DNP "not injury related." Sounds like someone got in trouble for his tweet

Looking forward to tonight's game. Should really tell a lot about a team that's supposedly turning the corner.

Short week, prime time, against the Pats. Doesn't get much bigger than that as a "time to show up and show out" kind of game.

NE gonna drop 40 on us fam.

Bill on a short week can still prep his team better than anyone.

And sadly, Brady throws so soon, so fast after the snap, it negates our huge strength, pass rush. We need to press the LOS and make him hold the ball, give DLine a chance to get thru their OLine.

Thing is, we all know our secondary is leaky.......

Hope they prove me wrong, cuz I wanna see the Dan Campbell hype train build more momentum. :pimp:

Yea I don't think we see the sacks like the last two weeks, but if they are coached up to have hands up on Bradys quick drops that could cause a problem. Linebackers jumping slants can help as well, and they have been playing much better.

I trolled saying something like Miami 50, Pats - 6 but I honestly believe they will put up 27 minimum. Should be an interesting game tonight, should tell a lot.

Dion Lewis is playing tonight so that doesn't help us. He made the Boys look stupid.

If this game was in Miami I'd feel a lot better... I dunno man. Gut feeling.

Offensive explosion. Patriots slaughter us on defense, but Tanne matches productivity and holds his on...on National television.

Limit the turnovers and get rid of the ball fast while taking advantage of short to mid game play calling
