OFFICIAL 2015 M!AM! DOLPH!NS SEASON THREAD (6-10) / NEXT:

Dalton really cookin the team Ryan dropped 6TD's in a half on eh?

Impressive.

La Canfora: Ryan Tannehill is a ‘Third Tier’ Quarterback

“He’s a young, developmental quarterback,” CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora said on the Hochman, Crowder, and Krantz. “You’re hoping he doesn’t lose you games most weeks. He’s not gonna come out and win you too many. He’ll be a function of what’s around him by and large, and that includes coaching and personnel and playcalling and all of that. He’s not going to be a guy who can make you transcend your other limitations to win football games and there aren’t a whole lot of those guys on the planet who do do that most Sundays. To me he’s in that sort of third tier of guys.”

:nerd:

One positive to take away from the game, the defense only gave up 3 points in the second half, despite a lot of rookies on the field. Hull, McCain, Hewitt, Lippett all stepped up. And Zach Vigil is the one who blocked the punt that led to the TD.

Oh, no ****?

You mean, kinda like we been sayin in here the whole ******* time????????

There's like 4 elite QB's on the planet, and 3 will be gone soon.

Everyone else needs their coaches, and teammates to do their job.

Ya know, like I've ******* told you 2 million times.

:nerd:

After that fateful 0-7 start some years ago, the mindset was suck for a QB so good that you can draft him and then piece together the rest. Well, Matt Moore ruined that and we ended up losing out on the SuckForLuck sweepstakes. Now I'm supposed to remain patient, 4 years later, on... what exactly? 7-9 and 8-8 every season? Is that the ceiling?

By the way, here is another "finnns crystal ball prediction": DeVante Parker will bust as a Dolphin, the latest wasted pick ala Dion Jordan

By the way, here is another "finnns crystal ball prediction": DeVante Parker will bust as a Dolphin, the latest wasted pick ala Dion Jordan

Just stop making predictions. You just waste all our time with this drivel.

Please, keep blaming one single player for the entire mess of 52 others plus trash coaches, and a worthless owner, and poor front office.

ONE ******* QB would fix all that, "finnns" :smh:

Well you know my wish list. After seeing the team's depth, multiple drafts are needed for impact playmakers on defense. LB corps, hell I wouldn't feel bad if all 3 positions were gutted. A safety that lays the wood to pair with Reshad. A couple starting CB's, boy would it have been nice to still have Vontae around instead of... oh that's right his replacement is gone too

New OC, new head coach, new DC. Fire Dennis Hickey, he's useless. Tannenbaum is obviously in charge. Ross is handcuffed to him so no point wishing he was gone, it'll take a sale of the team for that to happen. RB's and WR's are fine. Rishard probably walks in the offseason. UTILIZE YOUR TE'S IN THE SEAMS. Draft OG and sign a vet OG to replace the current ones. Find a LT that can backup injury prone Albert.

Only way #17 will succeed is the above working to perfection, above average coaching and a stout defense.

You still goin too far. He doesn't need ALL of it, he needs SOME of it.

The Packers downgraded from a dominant WR to a borderline incompetent one and a top 5-6 RB to a backup caliber one. Rodgers needs help.

He is clearly one of the ELITE QB's, and even he has been strugglin the last 3 weeks because both Jordy and Lacy have gone to crap. Quarless hasn't been there, Adams was banged up, and lo and behold, Aaron freaking Rodgers is struggling.

YOU, want Ryan to carry a poor Oline, Philbin, then a nobody first time coach, Lazor, Greg Jennings, no rookies (to this point) A terrible DC, no sacks from DLine early, 1 LBer, 1 CB, and 1 safety.

That''s the problem. That's toooooo damn much. If Rodgers is havin a few issues with just a couple offensive weapons not bein 100%, how would he help us with all that bull ****?

Yet, you blame Ryan. :x

We've told you in this thread for several years now, fix multiple issues, multiple, and give him a chance. He isn't gonna gangbang the league himself, but he can get the job done.

Remember me mentioning Bridgewater? Dude has 7 TD's, and 6 INT's, and is 7-2. 7 TD's, in 9 games. Teddy somehow a magical QB or somethin? Or does the fact that they have like 10 first round picks the last 4 years seem to be helping them, as well as getting AP back?

Exactly.

Think better dude. Bigger picture, broader landscape. Stop using myopic views and only blaming one piece of a giant puzzle. Every time he throws a bad pass, you go straight to Hennehill. Tom Brady threw a game ending INT last week, only the guy dropped it. But come on NT, Brady was an "assassin" and a "killer" etc. Hot takes 2015 gotta stop.

He makes a mistake, ok, don't do it again, learn. He makes a great pass, ok kid, do that again, learn. That's the approach.

You swing from INT, BUM, to Touchdown, woooooooooooooooooo, to incomplete, HENNEHILL, to great pass, woooooooo, to drop by WR, CUT HIM, to touchdown wooooooooooooooooo

Man, stop.

Stop living play to play, and hope that these clowns figure out how to build properly, and get some talent on the roster.

Myself? Oh, I already heavy on the Defense in the Draft. :nerd: HEAVY. I want 5-6 of these ************* to get in here and go to work. Day 1, work. No 6-8 weeks off to "adjust" get their *** on the field like Jimmy did with Zach, Taylor, Madison, Surtain, etc. Day 1, on the field, GO.

Will we get that type of coach tho? *shrugs* No way for me to know.

But I ain't blamin Ryan if we don't.

 Hurts to read Surtain, Madison, JT, Zach, those guys would have us winning the division every year right now

Oh wait, Fiedler Jr. is the QB now

All jokes aside, I hope that these "clowns" as you put it, do figure out how to fix the defense quick, and find a competent coach. We've been the bridesmaid with Harbs, Fisher, Gruden/Cowher comfy in the booth, etc. Now that Philbin is fired, it would've been nice to get a crack at Dan Quinn but Ross learned his lesson too late. Who is out there? Sean Payton's defensive mess with Rob Ryan has soured my outlook on him

Yeah, Payton would be great for O, but not sure D.....

Need Ross to buy elite HC, and assemble super staff OC/DC. Do it right for a change.

You may apologize any time finnns.

No rush, make it heartfelt tho.......

No Audibles Allowed. Lazor decision (along with Philbin)

2 play calls, but only slight variations. Vanilla as can be.

Players all confirmed, not on QB.

So whenever you're ready quarterback blamer. We got time.

It's problematic that he isn't given the authority to audible, he had that power under Sherman. Is this an indictment on Ryan Tannehill, Bill Lazor, or both?

Even Jameis Winston has the authority to audible and he's a rookie.

Like I've said, if the coaches aren't teaching all 11 players audibles, the QB can't just call somethin and the other 10 will get it.

I don't even know if it's Lazor, or Philbin started it, and Lazor followed.

He was doin it under Sherman, as he progresses, so does his understanding, you don't limit that, you add to it.

Also keep in mind, he does really well in two minute drives, which is him calling his own plays. That clearly shows he's capable, expand on that, but coaches have to have actual brains and think that far ahead.

Also, pretty telling when Ryan says "he's the coordinator." Sounds like he's asked for it, been blocked, so says fine, do it your way bruh.

Lazor won't be back next year I don't think.

Campbell said he felt like it would "slow Ryan down" to have the ability to call his own plays...

So there's good news... this guy isn't the Dolphins owner...

@davebirkett: New Lions president Rod Wood: "I would probably say that Im not qualified to run any other NFL team but I think I'm qualified to run this one

Dolphins 3rd down conversions.
Tannehill throws a DART to Matthews for a 20 yard in... Dropped.
Tannehill thorws a good 20 yard lob to Landry that drops right in his hands... Dropped.

Tannehill's Fault.

I liked the Jordan Phillips pick during the draft, like it now. Kid is a player and shows up!

Dez set up in the slot on a rookie LB. No one on that defense of on the sideline made an adjustment.

I have 0 doubt LBs aren't allowed to make those adjustments.

No one knows how to return a kick off. Jason Fox can't block without holding. The punter gets a personal foul called on him.

This team has a collective IQ of 80
