If Docs clear him, Jordan Cameron >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Clay. Top 3-5 TE when healthy

3 concussions in the last two years.. brain doesn't get stronger.

The key phrase is "when healthy"... just a matter of time.

Jordan will be the red zone target Tanne needs. Grab Cecil or one of the top 3 WR's, and we're set as far as offensive skill positions go. Maybe a pass catching RB

Word through to grapevine (Mort report) is Dolphins almost had Jimmy Graham. Saw it on Omar twitter... would have been good and the best offseason I've ever been apart of. So close.

I was listening, he said Dolphins tried to get in on Graham, not almost had. The Seattle deal happened quick, we just tried a last ditch pull. Nothing was imminent or anything.

Thanks for the clear up... I was curious about the actual statement and couldn't find what was said.
My statement still stands, would have been thee greatest offseason ever.

Ndamukong Suh is signing his contract. So… he’s officially a member of the #Dolphins.

And so it begins!

The details of Ndamukong Suh’s salary has been released via Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post.

Here’s how it breaks down.

Suh is receiving $114 million with $60 million guaranteed — $25.5 million of that is a signing bonus which is spread out over five years for cap purposes.

So of the guaranteed years, the Dolphins will take a massive $28.6 million cap hit in 2016 but will only have a $6.1 million hit this year.

In 2017 it will be a more manageable $15.1 million.

The cap hits will then rise to $22.1 million and $24.1 million in 2018 and 2019 but neither of those years are guaranteed. The Dolphins could try to restructure at that point.

Base salary:

2015: $985,000 (guaranteed)
2016: $23.5 million (guaranteed)
2017: $10 million (guaranteed)
2018: $17 million (non-guaranteed)
2019: $19 million (non-guaranteed)
2020: $8.36 million (non-guaranteed)

Cap hit:

2015: $6.1 million
2016: $28.6 million
2017: $15.1 million
2018: $22.1 million
2019: $24.1 million
2020: $8.36 million

So some initial thoughts on this

-I'm thinking this helps out Wake, even aging, he should see less double teams. He struggled mightily the last 6 games of the season, and a lot of that was 1 on 1 matchups so we'll see. Make him more of a pass rushing specialist, no more 3 down action

-The line right now consists of Wake, Suh, Mitchell, and OV. Does Hickey and Tannenbaum look for a wider, bigger DT to counter Mitchell's poor play vs. the run last season? After all, he graded out negative 2 years straight now. Obviously Suh helps but still, don't get complacent

-LB now. Does Ellerbe get dumped after June 1? Is the priority finding a starting MLB? Misi isn't that guy.

-What's going on with the secondary? Who will start next to Reshad? Would like to see early picks spent there, if not on a LB

Ellerbee might simply get re-structured. 50/50. They can cut him, or keep him along with Misi/Jenkins.

McCain is a great get. Keep Jamar healthy, that gives us 3 legit CB's. Just need additional depth.

Aikens or Thomas "could" play Safety, but I'm sure they try to add one or two more. Might even bring Delmas back on the cheap.

I dunno about DL need. Still have Anthony Johnson, Shelby, Jordan, Fede and I think one other DT, Francis????
If they find a cheap one, sure, but not huge need.

Suh opens up EVERYONE. Wake, Mitchell, OV will never see a double. LBers will be free more, CB's/S don't have to cover as long, don't have to blitz as much, more in secondary, etc.

I "think" they go O heavy in the draft. WR x 2, OG, TE, and RB. Load up skill guys for Tanne. Wallace, Miller, Landry, Matthews, Sims all we got right now. Need 3-4 more weapons + 1 OL.
