OFFICIAL 2015 M!AM! DOLPH!NS SEASON THREAD (6-10) / NEXT:

With that logic, we won't go after Parker either.

BINGO!

Just because we haven't had one doesn't mean it's NOT a roster fit. A BIG alpha receiver is EXACTLY what this offense needs.

ALSO, #@%$ Phlibin. He needs to MAN the #@%$ UP

I mean......he had ONE year in college of real playing time. He had less than 900 yards. He had 3 100 yard games. Indiana, Kentucky, and Auburn.

We gassin the kid up cuz he's tall.

His combine was meh. 4.5, not crazy reps on the bench, nothin crazy broad jump, his 10 yard wasn't all that quick, his short shuttle was lower tier......I mean, what are we doin here?

We have 1 real year of college competiton without insane stats, we have an ok combine, but nothin crazy, we have off field issues, and we blowin his spot up, for what?

I honestly don't get it.

The only thing that concerns me about him are his off the field issues. His size, and catch radius, alone separates him from your avg. prospect. Make no mistake about it-

Amari is a natural prospect at 6'1.
Kevin White has the size and speed of a freakish WR
Devante has the size, and will catch the ball at its highest point
DGB has size, and will immediately create match-up problems for DCs

More than you can say about Jalen Strong & Nelson Aghlor (who lacks explosion. See Jarvis Landry).

I like Phillip Dorrset, but we have that same subset of skills in Kenny Stills.

Breshad is a bigger on field risk than DGB.

With all of that in consideration, DGB is top-tier talent, and wouldn't be a reach at 14. He adds size and depth to that WR core, and gives Tanne something he hasn't had throughout his pro-career.

I personally wouldn't be upset to get a Marcus Peters in the first. But I sure as hell don't want no Sammie Coats at 47

By that logic... because Parker jumps higher, catches at a higher point, has equal radius, doesn't have the off field problems DGB has, put up BIG numbers against top level corners including one that should of gone in the first round and graded out higher He should be the pick...

Oh he was also hurt to start the season and still put up 855 yards and 5 touchdowns in 5 games.... In 5 games.
DGB in 14 games 883 and 12 tds (4 came against Kentucky... come on...)... against inferior competition. (meaning we don't know how good he could be) which is true of every single pick in this draft.

Big thing with me... Drama WRs are a no no. I didn't like the Wallace signing originally for that reason.

Which is what I've said.

All this and we might end up with Gurley

I might be crazy.......but I'm not too high on Kevin White. I just don't think he's better than Parker/DGB.

 I agree with you. I would LOVE Parker, but he will not be there at 14.

Drafting Gurley would set our organization back.

Reports say the Dolphins' new roof in 2016 will offer 92% shade. The opposing team's bench will not have it [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]

I. LOVE. IT.

I was high on him before the season. He's that guy man... dude is no joke.
Originally wanted him for the Dolphins before people knew about him (before the combine)... soon as he did what he did he was automatically top 10. Wanted Waynes after that... would still be happy with him, but he's a zone corner. And Coyle is an idiot. Still think Peters is number 1 corner, still want him, Parker, or Shelton.

h3at, that's actually relieving to hear. When I saw the planned renovations the first thing I thought was that the shade would hurt our home-field advantage. Teams hated playing in a completely open Joe Robbie/Pro Player/Dolphin/Land Shark/Sun Life Stadium on a hot sunny day.

Ridley to Jets........ He wanted to be a fin. I'm going to the Jets game in Miami with his family. I'm gonna be the ONLY one in Dolphins gear  :smh:

That sucks, I think him and Miller would have been a good running combo.

If I were GM I would got Ridley, slide Dion Jordan to LB and look to pick up a big WR target in round 1, and another Guard for the OL in the second. Dallas Thomas bum self needs to go.

I'm glad the Dolphins didn't sign Ridley.
After his 17th fumble you guys would of lost your minds.

This draft is so deep with running backs as well. Don't care at all the Dolphins passes on him.
Lastly I actually like who the Dolphins have with Miller, Williams and Gillislee. Don't see RB as a huge need... OG, WR, CB, Safety.

He's fumbles were WAY over blown. Plus, I had my reasons

2015 MIAM DOLPHINS PRE-SEASON

Week 1 (Aug. 13-17): at Chicago Bears

Week 2 (Aug. 20-24): at Carolina Panthers

Week 3 (Aug. 27-30): Atlanta Falcons

Week 4 (Sept. 3-4): Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The more I look into it, the more talent I'm starting to realize in the later rounds. I do think, if the top 3 WR's in the class are gone, we probably should trade down and double up.

Example 1: Stefon Diggs

The long-term extension for C Mike Pouncey and the #Dolphins is a long time in the making. And there is an agreement in principle.

5 years/$52 million I saw.
Waiting for breakdown and guaranteed.
