I went in and saw that they were $99.99. I told the guy that the website said it was 25% off on the Metcons, and the manager said they would honor that. I had a $10 off coupon that was emailed to me, so it was actually $64.99 before tax. Might have been a fluke, cause the manager immediately said he had to talk to the employee by the shoe department about that.

Yeah i just tried that discount on their site and it wouldn't work on the metcons. You got a crazy good deal though, congrats.

Yes you did get a good deal.  The 25% off is what makes the price 99.99.  I got a pair the other day for that price, plus 15% off plus a $10 reward.  I had a coupon that was given to us from work that is good until tomorrow for 15% off any item. Other than that most of the coupons don't work on the metcons.

god the sprint was a horrible shoe, hopefully nike does a little better, maybe keeps it a tad wider. I haven't been able to wear a ton of Nike shoes over the years because I have a wider foot. The metcon is perfect, so if there is any truth to your statement, I hope they keep that in mind :smile:

  Much better than the clown colorways that seem to be part of the 2.  Only problem is it looks to be labeled as a womans.  Hopefully there is a mens too.

The back doesn't look like the posted pics of the metcon 2. Doesn't it have a tab that sticks up on the top of the heel
 
Grey ones don't seem to be released yet.. I was asked to remove the picture of them from my page. So maybe not official?

They look official to me perhaps Nike just doesn't want them out there yet.  Could be a flagship CW for the 2 kind of like the grey/volt for the 1.

The product itself is legit as far as I know.. Official release is end of Jan but somebody didn't get the memo.
