NIKE METCON THREAD - 7s out now

So how do you guys like the metcon 2s? Was wondering if you guys use them for deads/squats? Was looking into picking up a pair of these or some nike romaleo 2s instead since they're on sale.

Metcons are perfect for squats and deads. Romaleos aren't meant for normal deadlifts, snatch and clean deadlifts-yes.

Glad I was able to help. Shipping time depends on location. I'm in Cali sometimes I get them 1-2 days depending when the order is placed (business day/during business hours). Be warned, they do ship using a bag.

Thanks for the RRS heads up! I was going to hold off on the grey/gold, but for $100 you can't go wrong.

I'm officially at a dozen pairs of metcons. This is bad.

1s: OG Volt, OG Black/Grey, Grey/Purple, Volt Camo AMP, EU Grey/Orange, Invictus, Grey/Gum, Banned

2s: OG Red, Blue Mondays, Grey/Gold, ID Black/Gold/Gum

There are two more pairs of IDs sitting in my cart right now, but I just can't justify pulling the trigger. The L. Fisher's look sooooo good though.

Just got off the phone with RRS customer service. They told me no specific date on triple black Metcon, but to check back towards end of next week. Doesn't answer my question, but it puts it around the same release as everyone else. With the added discount how can I say no.

The only thing I wouldn't want to do in white shoes would be rope climbs.. Other than that it's just normal use.. I wouldn't be worried at all

Gym rotation, and I'll kick around in them on the weekends occasionally.

They are great for normal wear.  Since the metcon came out it is the only shoe I wear. They are my daily shoes as well as training shoes.  I have 37 (30 1's) and (7 2's, which one is ID)  pairs which include some doubles which I only wear to work or only workout in. I know I have a problem.
