NIKE METCON THREAD - 7s out now

I gotta wear high socks on my metcons ... Wore no shows today for my leg day and just not the same look to me, makes the metcons look smaller hahaha
 
The in person pictures look so much better than the product shots! I can't wait to have these in hand.

While I was "in line" on NDC I ordered a pair via Eastbay. Of course, I already have my Nike shipping info and Eastbay is "backordered" If they're still in limbo when my NDC order arrives I'm canceling.

Called and the lady said they should ship by the 24th. If NDC releases before then I'll just cancel it.

Did anyone get their invictus metcons yet? I'm debating whether or not I want to put in an order for a pair (im on a Metcon buying spree), but was trying to hold off for some on feet shots (I already saw the ones on IG from crossfitinvictus account). For anyone who does have them were they what you expected?
 
i maybe the odd man out here, but the more i see pics of the banneds, im glad i didnt get them. i went with the fraisers instead. the white sole is just turning me off. i liked them alot more in the promo pic 

should have my fraisers and a pair of fishers for the lady friend next week. itll be my first pair of metcons. cant wait to try them out
 
Just did a WOD in my "banned" metcons. For those who were worried about the sole not staying white, they stay clean, even with me rolling around on the ground after trying to catch my breath. lol

As far as I know the only place you will be able to get them now is through eBay with someone selling them. Invictus only ordered a limited amount, and that was when the order form was initially sent out. 
 
For those peoe in near Stockton CA: the fleet feet in Stockton, have the blue lagoons, all the Nano 5's and full size runs in men and women competes.
 
I've been wearing the MC1's since March and I went and tried out the reebok competes today. For sure the competes are lighter and a bit more flexible out of the box ( I do like the heel cup too. Better stability) but that forefoot cushioning is strait poop!! I would not want to workout in the competes. Thank God for the MC1.

I bought the competes and I like them. So light, extremely breathable, but no cushioning and it would really hurt my foot durning double unders, runs, and even just from jumping down from doing pull ups.

1. If you like the color, pull the trigger, the grey is going to be similar to every other pair of metcons in grey.

2. If you have a connection to Invictus. Get them.

Just curious,for those getting the Invictus pair is it for the color way or due to a connection with Invictus?

This is reebok at least making a stand.  The problem is, samson really doesnt beat goliath.  Especially when you arent even samson.  If Nike wants crossfit, theyll have crossfit.  Its that simple.  And crossfit and everyone in the hiit training community will benefit.

That coupled with the fact that reebok has sold 3 pairs of Nano 5s and they are sweating.

Reebok though, is going to claim theyve been there from the beginning almost.  Theyll say they care about the community - so long as they wear their shoes.  If reebok really wanted to actually GAIN respect in all of this, theyd let nike athletes wear the metcons and romaleos.  I would respect reebok more if they just allowed it.  By banning the metcons, it just looks like fear to me.  Reeboks best chance in sticking around is to take a bilateral approach.  I just hope Nike fires back or goes to this meeting.
