No, I was impressed by it but to be fair I only tried them on with a few quick sprints in the store (many was looking at me weird). Will probably get a pair to try out.

I remember a few months ago a 1.0 pic hit IG and there was speculation it was the next Metcon - now we know it is an entirely different line. I'm very curious to try the 1.0.

so sick of white soles...
I don't have a ton of spare time in my day and I certainly don't want to be using a toothbrush on the soles of my shoes

Just wear it and forget about it, the shoes doesn't have to be pristine all the time.

Does anyone have a problem with their Nike Metcons squeaking when you walk in them? I have 4 pairs and notice my two older pairs do it. Its something to do with the insole I think because if I take them out and walk around, the squeaking is gone. Does anyone have the same problem?

Yes, after about 6 weeks they start to become loud. Happened to me with both pairs of old mesh and new mesh. I think it is the insole just getting broken in.

I guess I'd rather just have a dark sole than a dirty looking one. Kinda like why I wear black socks. (they never get "dirty")
A majority of the metcon releases have had a white sole. So yes, I could buy a different colorway, but it's easier to whine about it and hope someone from nike is listening so they make more than a couple options with dark soles
PS I got the total orange CW from europe yesterday and am in love!

I dig that White/Black CW. I am waiting to see if nike approves the claim on a pair I sent in for the mesh. Hopefully they do. I will either get the White/Black or that red pair thats out.
Question on those 1.0s is will it stand the beating? I bought some free trainers I cant remember what they were. They were posted in here. I hit one rope climp metcon the first week I got them and they literally fell apart.

I'm digging the black/white colorway. So simple, so nice.
As far as squeaking goes, very common in Nike/Jordan shoes. Take the insole out, put some baby powder on the bed of the shoe, re-insert sole. Problem solved.

Mad, I didn't get them in an 11.0. I went TTS, 11.5, and there is a bit of heel slippage.

Just started noticing the same problem with my Camo's that I wear pretty much daily, I'm gonna try the baby powder solution someone mentioned above and see if it works.

How bad was the mesh rip? I have the og volts and the mesh is starting to fall apart

It was basically coming apart. I don't have pics but there were nearly holes.

Be careful I ordered a pair through them and despite repeated checking before ordering they sent me a 10.5 instead of a 9.5 that I ordered. Returns/exchanges are not cost effective so I'll just have to get rid of the 10.5 now.

Wore my size 12's at the gym the other day. I was careful about sizing because I know the UK size is one size off from US or something. Everything came as ordered... Sucks that happened and I was nervous about it until they showed up, just because returns wouldn't be an option
