Soccer/Futbol/Football Footwear, Kits & Gear - 2015

I've been getting mad cramps and shin splints when I play soccer. What can I do to avoid this other than stretch. Also do you guys wrap your ankles when playing? I use Nike boots and my ankle always seems to roll.

Any other sites getting the CR7 trainers? Resellers bought all of them off Nike and threw them on eBay.

I'm sick of these f***** resellers. Reselling cleats and trainers now.

Samething i would like to know!!!.....F'in resellers :smh:

smh, I had my size in my cart, went to go do something for 5 minutes, come back and check out through paypal. and once paypal brought me back to nike, nike hit me with a "this item has been removed from your cart"

Make sure to size up from your regular size. Its Japanese sizing so for me it's alot more tapered and tops fit shorter in length. I love the collaboration but to be honest I feel like we are paying for the name. Great stuff regardless though
Late response but thanks for the heads up. I noticed Nike just put up some more Real Bristol gear and they basically added what you said as a fit tip. I'll probably be ordering that jacket soon.

I copped the City wind runner and absolutely love it. I would assume Nike made most of their big clubs in them. There is also a dope jacket called the Saturday jacket that is a button up rain jacket. I got mine from MCFC shop and just looked at the PSG Boutique and they have them. It looks like you may have to get them from club shops at this point.

I hope they release a City windbreaker in a similar color to the third kit, i'd cop that in an instant.

Repost of what its rumored to be below.
Man City third kit 15/16

Just received my CR7 free trainers and the black pair has a pretty sever smudge on the toe. :smh: the blue pair has some smudges on the medial side. black pair is definitely going right back.

Has anyone used the Nike Mercurial Superflys, or any futbol cleat, for football use?

I'm looking at the Mercurial Superfly AGs, but it is interesting to see the plate differences between football cleats and soccer cleats, especially since both sports use sharp cuts/acceleration in almost the same way.

Just looking for people's opinions, thanks!

I know a couple of pro football players wore superflys. The only negative i could give you is protection. I have super fly AGs and from a traction standpoint on most AG surfaces they are great. I can twist in and out of the artificial grass better then i can with FG plates. But some of the AG surfaces ive played on have longer grass blades and sometimes i find my footing slipping a bit. But for 90% of our fields im good.

But every time i get stepped on i can feel it. Now that being said i have no clue what a light American Football cleat gives as far as protection. I would assume with such a light weight cleat comes lack of protection no matter what sport due to reduced materials. But i have had some nasty bruises on my foot from getting stepped on in my SF's

Thanks bro,

All of the surfaces that I play on (Flag Football league) are AG surfaces. I may go ahead and give the Superfly AGs a try.

Yeah i always had issues with FG plates on the artifical grass fields that had a lot of the rubber pebbles. I couldn't dig into the turf and a lot of the time when i did my cleat would get stuck in. I used to peel layers of skin off my big toe from using FG plates on AG

There was also talk that nike would stop taking vouchers for FG cleats that break down because you used them on AG. So at least i know if i mess up my superflys on AG since they are AG i can get the full refund.

Hey guys, what boots would you recommend for street/indoor/recreational non-competitive futbol?  My budget is anywhere from 50-160...I really loved my old tiempo natural iii with the fold-over tongue but it seems they have discontinued that model.  I've narrowed it down to these:

1.  Nike MagistaX Proximo Street

2.  Adidas Samba Classic

3.  Nike Hypervenom Phelon

4.  Nike Tiempo Genio Leather

Thoughts and opinions please!  I'm leaning towards the proximo street but unsure about the ankle collar, I'm not used to playing with something like that.
