Soccer/Futbol/Football Footwear, Kits & Gear - 2015

MercurialX Proximo came in last week. Was able to get in a decent 5v5 tournament in them over the weekend.

Dope shoe. You can feel the difference in cushioning in the sole the second you put them on compared to the Superfly IV or Vapor X. Much more comfortable for standing and hard surfaces as advertised.

It's definitely not the SF though. Really feels more like the Obra. It's the same material as the SF covering the flyiknit but you can tell it's a much thicker layer I'm guessing for durability on concrete and harder turf surfaces. Again pretty much exactly what Nike advertised.

They should break in more and loosen up a good bit but I don't see them ever being quite the same as the SF in terms of feel.

I am 3 games into our spring season and i might be willing to say the superfly 4s are one of my favorite boots ever. The dynamic fit color to me is almost null. I don't really feel a difference in the ankle area or anything. The fit/feel of the boot is what stands out to me. You can feel everything ( for better and worse...got stepped on and there is literally 0 protection). But man is it worth it for the touch on the ball. And if anyone plays most of their games on artificial grass the AG plate fantastic. I used to wear my MV 9s on the turf and it would destroy my feet. Huge blisters under my big toes from pivoting and getting stuck in the turf. The AG plate doesn't get stuck in the turf it really is a brilliant design by nike. The only real negative is the boots tend to turn black due to the turf. I haven't tried to clean them yet since i honestly don't care that much but there is a black tint starting to form around the instep and toe area.

I got my sf 4s for $235 during the valentines day sale on world soccer shop. And if anyone is deciding like i was vapor or superfly...i can't imagine being any happier with a different boot. Looks like i found my boot of choice for a while and will be picking up another pair at a discount if i come across them.

Yea man the Superfly IV is A1. The feel on the ball is the best ever imo. Got the Proxima for coaching and training since it's nice to have flats that are as consistent as possible in terms of shape and feel to what I play in when doing demos and general flexing during training. :lol:

Not sure if this is allowed if not please delete. Just wanted to let the soccer fans know I put up 5 jerseys in the BST miscellaneous forum. Unexpected medical bill with my Dog so I needed to get rid of a few if anybody is interested. All size Medium.

Animal bills are the worst! We just spent over 1500 on our retriever and he still didnt make it. I hope your dog gets better!
 
Anyone have an idea about the fitment of warrior jerseys?don't hey run smaller or bigger than nike.. I wear a medium on nike stadium jerseys and large in authentic. Only large is available on the warrior I want. Thanks guys
 
Those Real kits are really classy, I like it. Wish the black on the logos were the same silver color of the stripes tho. That's the way the leak months back showed it.
 
If I'm not mistaken Thiago had a custom soleplate on his Hypervenoms against Porto yesterday. :nerd:
