The boot above will have a synthetic upper but there will be a kanga leather version also which will be worn by the likes of Ivan Rakitic, Daniele De Rossi, & Inter's Hernanes among others.

Love this kit, very simple. I think I might like it even more without the WC winners badge dead in the middle, but obviously nothing we can do about that. Will definitely be picking this up if this in indeed their next home kit.

I feel the same way, while I've always worn Nike boots, I find it strange they'd do away with one of their oldest most successful silo's. Seems like they're doing a pretty big overhaul, next thing we know they'll be offing the Copa Mundials :tongue:

Those Hypervenom 2's are TERRIBLE, their is nothing a checkmark should do to you to have you convinced otherwise :lol:
 
Stripes on the sides.

Been wanting adidas to try that for YEARS. Only real question will be

Been wanting adidas to try stripes on the sides for YEARS. Especially since they never designed anything on the sides anyway. 
 
Adidas X 15.1 Boots will be worn by Thomas Muller, Gareth Bale, Hannibal the cannibal (Luiz Suarez), Angel di Maria, Karim Benzema, Arjen Robben, Alvaro Morata, Diego Costa, Marcelo, David Alaba, Jordi Alba, Theo Walcott, Alexandre Lacazette, Lucas Moura, David Villa, & Ciro Immobile. There will also be a kanga leather version too. This boot looks like they got inspiration from the first Mutombo basketball shoe.

You know what....i don't completely hate the spurs away shirt.

Also strange that all these players are going from F50s to the adidas X. But messi is still getting a boot. I would have thought the Messi would be of the adizero lineage.

I guess we will see if the X is a "speed boot" or if adidas doing the rebranding is to change the thought behind boots so that we are off this speed boot, control boot, classic boot nonsense. And back to the good ol days of good boot and bad boot.

Still think the adidas X needs to be around 7 ozs to compete with the overall market though. And have a better colorway and drop that dumb graphic on the side :lol:

Thought it was pretty cool how the designers spray painted white socks to find the flex zones of the foot. Interesting way of finding where flexibility and reinforcement would be needed on the fly knit upper of the Hypervenom II.
