2015 52 Week Money Challenge

This isn't even worth it for me. I just deposit my check into my checking account and let it stay there. Spend when I have to on bills, gas, food, etc. Just don't buy it unless I need it. There's exceptions obviously, but just doesn't make sense for me.

Best of luck NT fam.

you could do this to create a little vacation fund.

As was said in last year's thread, this is more of a way to dicipline yourself into saving money if you've never really done so rather than saving up to make a big purchase.

Although 1300 at the end of the year is great for Christmas shopping.

I get what you're saying, but to me it wouldn't make a difference. It'd just be x amount in one account instead of another one. Instead, I just limit my spending and save the rest.

Because I was considering doing it.

Im in. Usually deposit at least 25 every other week so this should be even better.

Hopefully nothin comes up that i have to dip in

Im in but Im multiplying all deposits by 5 and will be starting backwards. If this goes right I will have $6890 by the end of the year.

In.

This will be my "side" plan as I have other saving plans.
