Please Lock.

Why do we have to wait until May for Canelo-Kirk, they can get that over and done with in March IMO.

Didn't Canelo say he was gonna fight 3 times this year?

The only good that can come out of this fight is Roach vs Floyd Sr on All Access. Manny needs to walk Cotto to the ring and confront Floyd right after the fight on some WWE tip.

Roach vs. Floyd Sr is good? Them 2 arguing is one of the saddest things in the world. It was awful during Hatton v. Manny. Would be even worse now.

The Mayweather vs Pacquiao talks didn't quite begin yet at that time. I'd image now there would be much more drama if they face each other and exchange words.

Ok so this is what we're going to get from the looks of it, Canelo vs Kirkland, Floyd vs Cotto, Manny vs Khan. Winner of Manny vs Khan will fight Floyd in his last fight. That's how I see it playing out. :smh:

It would be better to fight Pacquiao now, then a rematch for his last fight, so they could milk whatever hype is left to make as much money. So even if Khan vs Manny happened, Floyd will not fight neither, because if he doesn't want the fight now, why want it later? Floyd will likely fight Danny Garcia or any other slow to no footwork, average to little stamina, little handspeed hispanic fighter on hispanic holidays. He's going to retire undefeated.

I think Kirkland can beat Canelo.

He takes too many shots for me. Ever fighter he has fought has been able to land on him.
I don't see him makin it thru a buncha rounds with Canelo.
He does have a huge punch so he has a chance

Kirkland has been inactive for too long. I wish Canelo would learn some footwork. But I don't think Canelo is going to really show us anything new in this fight, but I believe we will see "prime" Canelo.

I agree if Floyd was really about making the most money possible he'd fight manny twice. There's no other scenario where he brings in more for his next 2 fights

Winning the Linear Middleweight Heavyweight Championship >>> 2 victories against Manny Pacquaoi

I like this scenario. A fight against Manny Pacquaoi would be a great exclamation point and finale to a stellar boxing career.

Yea once Canelo/Kirkland was confirmed as done, I tossed the PBF/Manny fight idea out of my brain for good. **** them. I hope their PPV sales do horrifically and they get jeered everywhere they go for the last seven years of killing the fans.

I can't believe people still get caught up in the possibility of that fight at this point.

And debate who's "fault" it is for not happening.

It's like the S+T's version of JayZ+Nas.

Wake me when it's signed.

According to Showtime Sports Executive Vice President and General Manager Stephen Espinoza, discussions are still ongoing and no contracts have been drafted for the long-awaited mega-fight between undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather and 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao. The news comes on the heels of statements made by both Bob Arum and Michael Koncz suggesting that all parties have agreed to terms, Pacquiao has already signed a contract, and they're just waiting on Mayweather to sign his end of the deal.

For the past week, Arum, Koncz and Pacquiao have informed anyone and everyone within earshot that they have agreed to all terms and "signed off" on their end of the deal. YouTube videos seem to be popping up daily showing Koncz, Arum and Pacquiao all sending the same message: sign the contract! In one interview, Koncz suggested that "in principle, there is a contract signed by Manny." In another interview, Arum went so far as to say, "We're all done. We've signed everything. We've agreed on all the terms. As far as we know, we've been told by the highest authority that Mayweather's people have agreed, the networks have agreed, but like they say, you can't do a play about Hamlet without Hamlet, and Hamlet, meaning Mayweather, has not yet signed on."

In the early hours of the morning, however, Espinoza took to Twitter to refute the claims made by all three men. When asked point blank by one of his followers why Mayweather has yet to sign, Espinoza replied, "Signing what? No contract has been drafted yet." As others began sharing some of the YouTube videos with him, Espinoza added, "What the hell is everyone signing???" He also explained that negotiations were still ongoing, contradicting statements made by Arum suggesting that everything is done. It seems as though yesterday, someone was lying and today, someone is telling the truth.

Can you clear up the confusion for everyone- Is there a contract that has been drafted between Pacquiao and Mayweather and if there is has Pacquiao signed?

They are going through a laundry list of things and checking them off one by one. Is it on actual paper that serves as a contract? I do not think so, but that is not important. What is important is to get to a place where they are in agreement and then things go to paper for review and signatures. So no, to my knowledge, there is no actual contract so there is nothing to physically sign. But that doesn't mean Manny can't "sign off" on all deal points that they have agreed to.

Just like how in 2009 there was a "contract" and Floyd signed and awaited Manny's signature like fans claimed.

Anyone see Manny's movie and if it's good or not? Does it tell us new things or is it just for people who don't know anything about Manny?
