Please Lock.

I feel like they tried to do too much too fast by going to primetime network TV.

I hear all the stories, and think I even have a vague recollection, of Wide World Of Sports and the great fights they used to broadcast.

But that was Saturday/Sunday afternoon. No primetime.

Maybe they should have gone that route for starters before they went all in as a primetime network feature.

Thurman was a good fighter for this. Molina didn't play into their plans though and Broner is not always the most exciting fighter otherwise. Which backfired on them.

Thurman fight more than made up for the Broner fight

NBC might have something on their hands

Is there enough money and demand to get Maidana in the ring with Thurman? Chino got a few Ms from Mayweather, I don't think he's in much of a rush to fight Thurman but everybody has a price and Haymon might crack open that wallet of his.

Dam i think thurman vs maidana will go to a UD. Wouldnt do good ppv but a lot of ppl will tune in for that. I think thurman deserves a chance wit maidana.

Thurman wouldn't be so comfortable with that inside pressure chino applies.

Thurman should fight Porter.
Hell, even Kell.

i dont know why yall hating but i thought nbc did a good job... if anything my only complaint was the mismatches that they had... like broner look too dominant against molina when in reality hes decent at best but he fought a bum and looked great... and 1 time was just a lot better than ghost and hes a good fighter but i would like to see him against better competition maybe maidana, khan or even swift...

Anyone else notice how broner comes up off his right hands when he throws a power shot? Like he does this recoil thing like he just threw a baseball or something.

Maidana, khan and swift aren't much better than ghost. (If they're even that)
Thurman beat a legit fighter.

I just read a story about the rosado and stevens fight. Supposed to have chips in the wrist of the gloves to measure pounds per inch and all kind of updates. Da hell?

I brought this up a couple weeks ago. They were supposed to test the censors in the Khan vs Maidana fight in 2010 but they decided not to. If they put them in Kovalev or GGGs glove, those things would probably break.

Nah man, Murray confirmed Golovkin has no power.

As mentioned by many of you guys yeah i didn't like the weak intro music as the boxers walked into the ring. John Molina didn't even let his hands go he was way too cautioius then at the post fight interview he said he expected Broner to do as he said he would and stand toe to toe :smh: Broner didn't even move that much only the 12th round but that's normal Floyd and Chavez Jr do the same. Broner just needed a better opponent because Broner's last fight was entertaining even the Malignaggi fight i went to was great crowd there was pumped but tonights crowd seemed lame like as if they comped a lot of free tickets to random people.

They should have let Broner finish his Can Man quote but NBC hating

Thurman/Guerrero was good but i saw that Thurman couldn't fight on the inside when Guerrero was up close.

SMH the way Mares walk into the ring Thurman and Guerrero were still in the ring didn't even give Mares a proper entrance.

Things i didn't like: Ring entrance, Announcer (Needs Michael Buffer or Jimmy Lennon Jr even the Solo Boxeo guy Lupe Contreras is better than what they had) also the commentators didn't care for their comments. the white guy kept just saying oh hes hurt etc. No ring girls?

Any way i'll still be tuning in to next fights on NBC.

The announcer was Marv Albert, who is a great basketball announcer but sounded a little green doing boxing commentary.

And what a juvenile post-fight interview by Molina. It seems like the newest excuse when you get outboxed by a better defensive fighter is that the guy "ran."

I was pretty entertained with the Thurman/Guerrero bout. Thurman is just that good.

I'm hoping I'm wrong but with all the (Haymon) fighter promos in between rounds PBC is coming off as nothing more than a way for Haymon to keep his pockets fat after Mayweather hangs them up.
