Please Lock.

No he didn't

Steve never held or headbutted his opponent, he slugged it out with him and he clearly won

Damn shame that man always gets robbed
I'm not sure you got my inference. More clearly, I'm stating Cunningham was robbed of a decision victory against Glazkov just like Herrera was robbed by the judges against DSG and Benavidez. Nothing to do with fighting style.

Even if it was real, likely he just worked out his arms and they're just pumped, or he's on creatine or something, but it won't really matter because size does not always equal power. Bradley is huge but lacks power, so I doubt even if Floyd gets bigger he will get an advantage. If anything it can slow him down with the amount of muscle he gains. Also, lets hope he doesn't go over the weight limit come weigh-in.

In other news, Manny Pacquiao is said to be sparring with Guillermo Rigondeaux again to prepare for Floyd. This is such a brilliant plan.
I always felt that Floyds size and strength has been underrated. When he's fighting guys that are in his weight class, he normally looks like the bigger, stronger guy. Outside of Maidana - who's a pretty vicious infighter - Floyd normally beats people up inside. Smothers them, elbows, defends everything and counters all of it in the clinch. Can't wait to see how Manny responds to that.
THIS. was funny seen mosely trying bully him and it not working at all.

RE: Golovkin getting backed down by Curtis Stevens

He ate those fairly well but Stevens definitely backed him up, and I just don't see him eating big punches from Kovalev, especially an accumulation of them, ain't gonna happen man  . I'd love to see him try though.

I mean, Golovkin gets hit like that pretty much every fight.

No one is saying he's not susceptible to being hit. He definitely is. But he's never been deterred from his game plan because he was hurt. If that's the best example we have of GGG "backing off," then that's proving the point even more.

Those shots would've knocked down a lot of good Middleweights, and would've staggered most. Golovkin reacted as if a fly flew on his nose.

Stevens backed GGG up, but not because he was hurt. Golovkin needs to find his range to begin his onslaught. Stevens' corner was telling him to get his punches off first because when he did he would get the better of the exchange, and he did. The problem is you can't keep that up with that much force over a 12 round fight. And, well, Gennady gonna Gennady.

 I feel what yall are saying. And look I respect the guy, I'm just saying he's looking like a come forward destroyer against guys that either can't really crack his chin like that or can't take his power, or both. If Stevens had enough power to get some space and make Gennady readjust, then Kovalev has much more than enough, not to mention way more length size and skill.

Put GGG up against a much bigger dude that just outboxed Bhop over 12, knocked out Pascal, who's never even been knocked down before, and also ate bombs from Pascal and kept moving, GGG is not gonna come forward all night walking through punches and hurt that guy like he does against these 160 pounders. It's not happening. And if he does, he's one of the toughest mother ******* I've ever seen in boxing and I'll eat my words, but I don't see it happening. I think he could definitely have his moments, but he probably ends up at the end of Kovalev's punches most of the night en route to a loss and/or stoppage. GGG winning that fight just doesn't seem probable at all to me.

IF they were to fight... I got Kovalev with the knockout! I like his style better, he can box, quick, long reach and has a chin.

Can't be srs, Kovalev looked huge compared to B-Hop and Pascal. I think if Chavez Jr actually took training seriously he'd be game against Kovalev. Won't win, but would be competitive.

I can actually see a motivated, on point JCC Jr beating Kovalev. The kid has talent that just doesn't come around very often. It's a shame he doesn't have the work ethic of his European brethren.

Guys all this fantasy matchup is great but this is a 160 vs 175! 15 pound difference! 3G vs Kovalev is like May vs Pacquiao before this year not realistic at this moment

Exactly. 160 vs 175.
Golovkin makes 160 EASILY.
Yall don't want Ward moving up to 175, but quick to call out GGG for not jumping divisions to put himself against a much larger man smh

Calm down buddy, i think it is fair to say everyone in here os a ggg fan. No one is calling him out just want to see him fight the best since the best in his division dont want it. We jus trying to come up with an interesting test for him.

I think we can all agree that ggg hasnt fought great comp, but that isn't his fault

Fixed.

Dude grew up wealthy so he doesn't have that hunger those Mexican boxers that come from the streets have.

Why doesn't he belong?
His power was incredible. Left hook turned Sergio's brain Sunny side up.

He can't g back to 147 and 154 he put on a lackluster performance against Trout.

160 is Cotto's last stand.

Triple G would give Cotto that Margarito hand wrap treatment.

Fight would be stopped around the 8th.
