... Who wouldn't he do that to at 160?

That doesn't mean cotto doesn't belong, just means there's a more dominant fighter who's currently the best 160lber.

You think Quillen beats Cotto? Or anyone else at 160?

Why doesn't he belong?
His power was incredible. Left hook turned Sergio's brain Sunny side up.

He can't g back to 147 and 154 he put on a lackluster performance against Trout.

160 is Cotto's last stand.

awesome performance by cotto, not taking that away from him. but lets be real, martinez was at the tail end of his career, he was knocked down in each of his last 4 fights.

I didnt realize how much more competitive 154 is than 160 until just now.

That's why everybody keeps yelling for top fighters at 154 to move up and fight GGG.

I think GGG should just go to 168. There is no one left for GGG to fight at 160 lbs.

Until I hear GGG say he absolutely can't make 154, I think he could cut a little more and wreck shop there.

He'd have everybody cutting back down to fight in the 140s to avoid him.

If cotto were to somehow beat GGG I'd be willing to bet Floyd would try him at 160 to get that middleweight division assuming he gets past pac. GGG also on record saying he's "not a big guy" and could come down to 154. I don't think anybody including Floyd wants any parts of this dude at 154

GGG probably can make 154 but with some discomfort, otherwise he would just campaign at 154 as his regular weight. The reason he'd be willing to do it is for a Superfight. Cotto just needs to fight anybody right now he's been out of the ring too long.

I personally feel like GGG would be most comfortable at 160-168. 154 is possible, but feel like he'd naturally do a training camp easier at the first two weights.

once a fighter makes weight for the weigh in arent they allowed to come in as heavy as they want?

Depends on the contract, some have it built in that you can only go up to a certain weight without penalty. Otherwise just think of all the instances when the fighters refuse to weigh in again the fight because it wasn't in the contract.

You have a source for that? Most I've seen them write is 170lbs on fight night. I find 182lbs hard to believe considering his weight on the 30 day weight check is usually 160-163.
I confused Rubios weight (182) with golovkin's (174)

golovkin only rehydrates up 2 divisions instead of 3
I'm not sure you got my inference. More clearly, I'm stating Cunningham was robbed of a decision victory against Glazkov just like Herrera was robbed by the judges against DSG and Benavidez. Nothing to do with fighting style.
I got your inference and I feel it's extremely unjust for you to compare Cunningham's robbery with herrera's loss

Cunningham out landed, jabbed, boxed Glazkov and slugged with him in the 12 knowing he needed a KO to win and still lost

herrera threw a good jab, ran in with a headbutt, held and headbutted some more and Garcia landed 70 more power punches

One fought his heart out and the other fought out of the rules and just to survive

Really Miguel? You drag your feet with the Canelo fight and this is the thanks we get? Disgusted :x

I know dude just beat Macklin a few months back but c'mon now :smh:
