Please Lock.

Basically anything north of +800 means there's bread to be made on the underdog and in this case WMJ will get you PAID if he pulls off the upset. That's why I never bet on Floyd there's nothing to be won there he hasn't won me any real money since the early 2000's.

He won me a easy $1600 with -185 odds vs Pac

Don't revise history

de La Hoya was DONE!

Stevie Forbes broke his jaw In the fight prior to PAC/DLH

Oscar was WASHED UP and more than likely coked and drugged up

that was the easiest money EVER!!

I don't understand why DLH took the fight. he could've fought Cotto or Margarito at 150-154 and made just as much money. If I recall that was the plan, but Oscar probably thought Margarito was more dangerous at the time.

I don't know what he was thinking at the time. I remember that Stevie Forbes fight and he was washed. Wasn't he exposed for doing drugs and cross dressing shortly before or after the Pac fight?

Antonio Orzoco who is fighting Emmanuel Taylor today looks pretty solid. If he puts a stomping on Taylor, it's going to lower AB's stock.

He probably thought Cotto or Margarito would badly, badly hurt him. Those two were killers back then.

Did dudes really think Floyd ducked margarito? He would've gotten washed easily. Plaster and all

-10,000 means you bet $10,000 to win a $100

+1600 means you bet $100 to win $1600

- you lay down that amount to win a hundred

+ you bet a hundred to win that amount

so in nba spreads, when the spread is like -1, I can bet a dollar to make 100?

No that means the team needs to win by more than one point to cover. If its exactly one point, then it's a push and you get a refund.

so lets say I throw 50 on a team -1. they win by 2. they cover. what do i get?

not understanding how spreads work is the only reason i've never bet on anything

Paez is lucky it wasn't stopped after the first knockdown. He didn't respond to the ref on that one either.

you get $45 (gotta pay 10% juice, this is normal for a single bet)

in team sports if you see a -, that simply means that team is giving the other team points.

example:

seahawks -3
49ers +3

this means seahawks is giving 3 pts and has to win by 4 to cover the spread.

when you make a single straight bet the payout is usually 1:1 (minus the 10% juice i mentioned early)

get it? got it?

There are two different bets you are getting confused with.

Money line and a point spread.

Point spreads are usually in Football and Basketball, in which the Favorite has to cover a certain spread for you to win the bet depending on who you bet.

Since boxing is only determined by win or loss and not through a point system, you get a money line so you can bet on who to win, therefore a plus or minus wager bet is determined for betting.
Of course the favorite you will have to put up for money to win a lesser amount as oppose to a underdog where you put up less to win more.
