I see what you're doing with your comments. When people talk about boxing and the sweet science they aren't talking about this mess. Controlling distance, effective aggression, out boxing, inside fighting, and ring generalship are all elements of boxing. Hugging and slow dancing isn't.

Broner started doing well when he was using his footwork but he is so intent on being flat footed and trying to be quicker than the other guy on the counter. Reminds me of a chicken fighting (not cowardly but literally). He wants to be Mayweather with the shoulder roll but doesn't have the ability to counter as well and seems very one dimensional with it.
