October should be a good month for boxing. Matthysse vs Postol, Klitschko vs Fury, and hopefully GGG vs Lemieux, and a Chocolatito fight.

Last night, Lenroy Thompson—known as Cam Awesome—lost his semifinal boxing match at the Pan Am Games. He was bested by Cuban heavyweight Lenier Pero, but is quickly making a name for himself because of a hilarious post-fight interview.
The 27-year-old vegan southpaw is most known for a number of Golden Glove titles he's won over the past eight years. In 2012 he received a one-year suspension for not filling out where-about forms and undergoing drug-testing for over 18 months. According to his Wikipedia page, this relative unknown returned to boxing and changed his name to Cam F. Awesome.
The interview starts with the usual questions about the match, but Cam quickly starts to inject his wry sense of humor.
“I thought I looked amazing. I thought I won the first round. I was like, ‘Oh, he’s going to bring more in the second round.’ And then the second round came and I was like, ‘OK, I won that round as well. Cam, you truly look amazing. Some people say you are the Taylor Swift of boxing.’ I’m not saying I’m the Taylor Swift of boxing. But I’m not not saying I’m the Taylor Swift of boxing.”
