^^Yeah Ward is the only real threat I see that can defeat Kovalev. Stevenson might as well vacate the WBC belt. Golovkin vs Lemieux has fight of the year potential all over it. Golovkin ate Stevens left hooks pretty well for the most part. Lemieux throws his with more power imo and it'll be interesting to see if he lands some clean shots.
 
^ Don't forget Cotto vs Canelo, also a super brawlfest for potential fight of the year.

Damn GGG vs Lemeix makes me nervous, love both fighters but I have to watch this. I'm thinking the man with the better chin will win. Lemeix has hand speed and power but I think GGG may get this.

sounds like we're gonna have a solid 2nd half for boxing. waiting for the damn cotto/canelo announcement so i can book my tix to sin city.

I also think it's unlike to happen, Kathy Duva is just saying it to stir public interest and maybe push Haymon to do business with her to make the fight happen. I don't understand why Haymon is reluctant to work with Duva. Imagine the possibilities.

Haymon isn't reluctant to work with Kathy when it comes to Stevenson. Kathy kept hounding Haymon and Stevenson for a purse bid (I really don't think she really thought Haymon would agree) for the Stevenson/Kovalev fight. Haymon agreed to the purse bid knowing that he would easily outbid Main Events promotions and could put the fight on Showtime or on the PBC. Kathy backed out of the purse bid citing their allegiance to HBO.
 
Rosado is out of his mind fighting 170lb + JCC, but at the same time he's been racking up Ls and wants to stay relevant
 
Yea, but dude has taken BEATINGS in some of his fights.

Fighting someone significantly larger doesn't seem like the answer to that or the string of L's he's on :lol:
 
I just remember the Quillin/Rosado fight being stopped because of a cut.

I'd hate to see the same if he takes some hard shots from a bigger dude.

Chavez is bigger but that doesn't equate to better. His power hasn't translated as he's moved up. None of us here are really surprised to know that.

What beatings has he taken besides ggg I haven't really seen redsado fight more than once that I can think of
 
The Quillin fight I mentioned. Dropped him and fight was called because of a cut.

Lemieux fight he was dropped was called because of a BADLY swollen eye.

GGG as you mentioned.

Dude is a Light MW and has had some rough fights since he moved up.
 
dam shame how rosado has so much heart but its not helpin him out at all. Making things worse for him if anything
