Just found out that Saunders is 25 y.o. he's not taking that big of a risk at this point in his career. A lot of other guys wouldn't either unless the price is right. The PPV numbers for GGG vs Lemieux are going to be critical to GGG's bargaining power.

I don't expect it to do well either, probably more than 150K though. Unfortunately that's going to give a lot of fighters a built-in excuse to not fight GGG.

Broner is a Haymon guy, Ruslan is with Banner and usually fights on HBO no? I don't know if it's even possible.

Doesn't matter. Fight is gonna suck anyway because Broner will fight in the most ***** made way possible, running, hugging and wrestling for as long as the ref will let him. Maidana ruined whatever potential he had

Not entertaining for the fans but that's a wise strategy to defeat Provodnikov. Even Matthysse didn't trade or bang with Ruslan for the better part of 12 rounds. His ability to box earned a decision. "Machine's" Argentine pride caused him to get hurt and stunned during that fight.
Nobody likes to see clinching the whole fight but Broner should definitely be on his bike, the same blueprint Algieri laid out at Barclays. Pick, pop, move. Constantly circling with head movement. Broner has a major speed and defensive advantage against Provodnikov, despite having far less power and a weaker chin.

I agree that boxing as opposed to standing and trading is the best strategy, especially against a dude like Provo, but that's not what Broner does. Like I said before, running, hugging and wrestling is his new blueprint and it's ugly to watch man. He had very little output in the Porter fight and basically just survived while making the fight as ugly as possible.
Matthyse on the other hand boxed Provo, and was landing bombs the whole time. The only reason Provo didn't drop is because dude has an insane chin. That I'm cool with, but Broner's new style is just pure trash.
