I thought the NBC fight night was pretty good. The ring entrances were bad but the fights were solid. IMO, you can't really expect network TV to allow for elaborate ring entrances due to the time constraints inherent with network TV.

When the ref blocks the view of the camera they need to switch to another angle immediately.

Wonder how much of a hit the views took during the Broner vs Molina fight

They were a little rusty. The may have to hire some camera/truck guys from the fighting networks. They showed way too many useless replays lol like punches getting blocked and such.
It will get better. The next card is just as good.
Can't wait.

The Ghost has chin. That knot was from a wack headbutt.

Marc Albert should stick to commentating basketball. I'm so used to him calling basketball.

I felt like marv would only acknowledge one fighter landing and not the other. Also felt like he was late On a lot of things. And sugar ray really did nothing to add either

Marv was a little too hyped on ordinary or missed punches

Per NBC Sports PR, last night’s debut of PBC Boxing in primetime on NBC averaged a 2.53/5 household rating/share from 8:30-11p ET and was highest-rated sporting event from 9-11p ET (2.67). The 2.53 overnight rating nearly tripled NBC average for Saturday afternoon fights from 2012-14 (.88) according to NBC. We’ll update this post with preliminary viewership as soon as we see it.

Update: with a BOLD DISCLAIMER IN ALL CAPS that preliminary viewership is subject to revision because the west coast is not handled properly for live events, looks like 3.13 million in preliminary numbers.

There goes my theory that it should have been earlier in the day

For now. Plus I have no idea what caliber of fighters they had in those 2012-14 fights.

MMA comparison is tough too. More fights. I know UFC on Fox 1 had a heavyweight title fight with 2 very well established fighters.

I hope PBC can sustain/increase. April card will be telling. I'm a Garcia fan, but is he more of a draw then Broner?

The Guerrero Thurman might have saved pbc last night. If it would've been a snooze fest like Broner Molina I would've been worried. That fight could bring more viewers moving forward

Thurman wouldn't be so comfortable with that inside pressure chino applies.

Thurman should fight Porter.
Hell, even Kell.

Chino has power in both hands so I think he'd have Keith a little more ****** up then Guerrero had him. But those body shots may have ended the fight.

I wouldn't count on Kell, I think Khan's gonna do what he can to make that fight this summer. He's got NOTHING in the works right now.

Chino is on that Kirkland diet right now, so it might be a while before we see him again.

I agree with you though, those body shots could end Chino if he doesn't put in work on his core.

I was pretty entertained with the Thurman/Guerrero bout. Thurman is just that good.

I'm hoping I'm wrong but with all the (Haymon) fighter promos in between rounds PBC is coming off as nothing more than a way for Haymon to keep his pockets fat after Mayweather hangs them up.
what the hell did you think this was?

the point is tho he is making his guys fight each other(well that looks like the plan) unlike the past
