All that Wilder having a glass chin talk might be off, dude took some shots here from Stiverne. Stiverne got a crazy chin though, he's been eating bombs all night
post #242 of 6894
Dudes is gassed...

Stivern coulda won wit his legs and early body shots. Take homie into the late rounds and take his head off.
WIlder looked tired af but her mustering enough punches to stifle homie
post #243 of 6894
This is going to the cards, both are too fatigued to throw a KO punch.

entertaining *** fight :Nthat

I was wrong, Stiverne doesn't have the gas. Dude is going to have work on conditioning.

And as mush as I hate Tyson Fury, he would wash both these dudes.
dont think anyone expected this. wilder pretty much 1-2 his way to world heavyweight champ.

I dunno about Tyson Fury, He's been down a couple times, I think Wilder could put him out.

But damn, that was a fight. Hats off to Wilder proving everybody wrong.

I never understand why Boxers can't do their "Shoutouts" after the interview.

"First off I'd like to thank God, and and and and (1 minute 59 seconds later) what was the question again"

One thing Wilder has that boxing in the Heavyweight division has been missing is personality.

As I said before, for the sake of Boxing...I'm happy as hell right now. Deontay is a likeable dude, man...

He STILL needs to make improvements though.

Keep him away from Wlad. On the business tip, his next fight should be on NBC...let Haymon make him a star.

He is more disciplined and boxes better than he's shown us in the past. Props to Deontay Wilder. Klitschko might be reaching father time, so it will be interesting if they fight in the next year or two.

I must be the only one who thought this fight could possibly end in Wilder by decision. laugh.gif too bad I didn't bet on it, think it was like +1000 for this proposition. mean.gif

Im pissed that i missed the fight. Was stuck grillin fajitas for me and my girl. Lenny bayless was the ref? Man **** bayless. Tony weeks is the ****.
Stiverne's strategy was puzzling. Not enough body work, didn't pop the jab or cut off the ring, and was purely searching for the big left hook.

Bayless was ref for the Santa Cruz fight, subject of some clamoring for early stoppage.

Weeks was ref for Wilder/Stiverne.

After thinking about it, I think this fight might've been fixed. Stiverne came in just to go the distance hence why he had the high guard up all night and stopped attacking when he rocked Wilder. After all you have Don King and the odds for Wilder by decision was +1000, the over 7.5 rounds +200.
Anything is possible but I'm not getting my *** whipped like that if I'm getting paid to lose. Stiverne didn't go down all night and ate BOMBS, he could've gone down multiple times and saved himself some brain damage. I think Stiverne just fought poorly and Wilder fought the best he ever has. Who knows though. If he did throw it I hope he got big millions because those right hands might've took functional years off his life.

Outside the realm of possibility? Absolutely.
