GGG looked ok tonight. Obviously his punching power and accuracy was the difference. I honestly think he punched himself out trying to finish it in the second. He cant walk through shots against top tier opponents. I felt he showed some vulnerability tonight.
I don't quite believe that's his plan but if it is I get it. Monroe showed some heart out there.

I honestly believe GGG really took his foot off the pedal to let Monroe get punches in to give the fans a drama show so to speak. Maybe the vulnerability will make fighters think they have a chance... Doubt it.
He allowed himself to b vulnerable due to monroes lack of punching power, but no matter what it still doesn't change anything I feel about GGG. Dudes a beast.

I'm really starting to wonder how much of him letting dudes connect is part of the "plan". I guess we'll see if he fights one of the top guys. I think I wanna see him fight Canelo more than Cotto Quillin or Jacobs even.

I really don't think it was. I think GGG doesn't have a large gas tank to be honest. Most of his fights don't last long. I feel like his stock went down a bit from this fight. Monroe only had 6 KO's in his career and they knew punching power is something that he didn't really have.

I'm for champions staying in their divisions and unifying. It unfair to force him to leave his division just because dudes don't want to fight him and especially when there are two other dudes in that division with straps. He should unify and then contemplate moving up.

Cotto needs to fight GGG since Cotto is the Ring champion. i hate when people say GGG needs to move up i don't hear people saying Rigondeaux should move up in weight like they beg GGG to. its not like GGG is struggling to make weight or doing what Canelo does fighting catchweights now.
