Please Lock.

I must be they only one excited about Dirrell vs Degale. I am a bigger fan of Degale, but think Dirrell does just about everything a little better and will get his hand raised.

Man say whatever you want to discredit GGG or credit him. There is no other boxer i want to watch fight right now. He is the most entertaining fighter we have seen since what? Roy Jones? The dude eats punches, stalks the whole fight and knocks dudes out. I have yet to be disappointed by a GGG fight.

Had to look up lemieux from the hype of his thread. Was impressed, then was like oh that was the same dude who got KO'd by Rubio to get Rubio/ GGG to happen

I thought Tito was more entertaining than Roy until his KO loss to Hopkins, but that's just me. Roy could have been more entertaining if he did to more of his opponents like what he did to Montell Griffin in their rematch.

That fight happened 5 years ago. The guy Lemiuex was 22 at the time fighting a grown *** man with heavy hands, might've been too fast for him. Raises questions about whether he can deal with GGGs power, which nobody's been able to deal with yet anyway, but still, judging him now off of that fight doesn't make that much sense.

Definitely excited. I've never seen Degale fight yet but I've heard good things, people saying Froch is basically ducking him now. And Dirrell is actually fighting real contenders again so his should be interesting.

Seemed like yesterday. I remember Rubio being the underdog that FNF. To me it makes sense no matter if it was 5 years or not, probably because I haven't seen a full fight of him since Rubio.  Like I said, I had to look up the guy

. Just yt'd highlights, I'll watch his latest later on.  Like you said nobody has been able to deal with GGGs power YET.

For what its worth, he looked just as impressive against rosado as GGG did. I'm sure GGG will knock him out, but he's a very formidable opponent IMO

The reason I respect Canelo is because when he said he'd fight GGG, I believe him 100%.

What about GGG vs kovelev

Kovalev is way to big!

But if they were to fight, I see them fighting at 168 with Kovalev winning!

Kovalev once mentioned they sparred and he never wanted to ever fight GGG after that sparring. I can't be surprised by this, Kovalev gets dropped by some weak punches at times.

Would never want to see Lara fight GGG.

GGG is a beast version of Angulo. He cuts off the ring better, he boxes better, he sets up his punches better, he has much more power. There is nothing Lara can bring to the table that will even remotely challenge GGG.

If he ran against Canelo, dear lord I can't imagine what we'd see against GGG.

Froch is done. His heart ain't in it anymore and that's not the way to go into a fight with GGG, I don't wanna see that.

As far as GGG beating up Kovalev, Kovalev and John David Jackson are saying Abel Sanchez is blowing it out of proportion. From this article:

There’s been speculation that Sergey had a torrid time in sparring with Gennady Golovkin…

Me and Sergey talked about that. Abel [Sanchez]’s blown that out of proportion. Yes they sparred. Sergey said, ‘John, the reason I don’t want to spar the kid is because I’ve got to hurt him. He said Triple G’s a tough guy, I’ve got to hit him with everything I’ve got to keep him off me and that’s going to hurt him. We’re friends. He says then Abel tries to make it a war and that’s not what we’re in there for. ‘That’s why I refuse to spar with the kid. Why should I have a war with him when I’m not going to make any money from it?’ He said Abel starts all this stuff but said, ‘The kid’s rough. I admit that. I had to hit him with everything I have to get him off. That’s all that was.’ They’re friends.

Still says alot about how tough GGG is though if he's taking Kovalev's best shots. Quillin also claims he sparred with Kovalev and held his own though so who knows man.

It's not about what we wanna see at this point when it comes to GGG, he's gotta start fighting names now in order to get the bigger fights he wants.

Hence the reason names like Lara and Froch are being tossed around.

I don't want to see him fight either one, but I understand the politics in boxing.

Yea GGG needs to fight some real competition. Up until the other day I never heard of Willie Monroe

Very true, he definitely needs a name fighter. I'm still wondering who that first big name is gonna be though, seems like still nobody really sees him as being worth the risk yet.

Who do you guys give a shot at beating Golovkin?

Ward needs those tune ups before even considering the match up.
