He is a corny Floyd copy-cat that doesn't have the same skill set as Floyd and has already been exposed.
He does have the "people will watch my fights because they want to see me lose" thing going for him.
Maybe Haymon can turn him into a PPV star just based on that but he has to keep winning
Don't underestimate the "people will watch my fights because they want to see me lose" factor. That was the main thing that just allowed floyd to have a $300 million year by far the highest of all time of any athlete. The only person that could possibly break this in the future is Broner
Broner will never be a PPV star hell he prbly wont make it back to HBO after this L. Floyd is who he is bekuz nobody has touched him in 20 years we have already seen Broner get man handled and will see another L tomorrow night.

Like AB says himself, he's not a boxer he's a professional entertainer and he'll draw that way. There's a reason him and his team turned down the $40 million deal from Roc Nation. AB is worth more, he's about billions
Broner hasen't even seen a $3M payday yet only thing he's about is he's about to take to take this L.

Not when there's so many sports more popular than boxing in the US right now. Look at the top american boxers that win but aren't more than just a boxer and look at how little they make.
Broner hasn't proved anything tho idc how much entertainment he does at the end of the day he fights bums, and when he is in the ring with real talent he gets washed. He's fighting on NBC for a reason now

While I don't feel that Broner is a PPV star at this point in time, I think he will be. At this point in time fighting on NBC isn't necessarily a bad thing. The networks are riding the high of May/Pac giving boxing a shot in the arm (the fight failed but it generated more interest in the sport). This is a great way to give Broner a lot more exposure . If Broner puts on a show it will elevate his popularity with casual fans or even fans who don't know much about boxing at all. If anything him fighting on NBC shows that they want him to be a prime time star and that he can be. NBC and Showtime are the same company.

CBS and Showtime bruh not NBC

Broner is right on the cusp of being a PPV star but he needs some more names under his belt like you are saying.
He's not going to sell himself short for $40 million. He's going to have reality shows in the future, music that will be licensed into different avenues. His own boxing promotions company. Maybe even the silver screen. $40 million is chump change
