Man forget about the fight bein free- this dude is fightin berto. Out of all the willing contestants he chose berto. He had dam near a 2 yr layoff, plenty of ther fighters that haven proben themselves that deserve the recognition- but yet he chooses berto.

Lol yeah pretty much. He already fought Manny, none of these other dudes will beat him, he's winding his career down, the fight is gonna be on free tv anyway, let the man live.
I actually didn't mind the berto or mayfield fights when he first mentioned it because he's so far ahead of those dudes that he might actually open up and get a ko for the first time in a real long time. Bottom line, at the end of the day it's just a showcase fight before the 50th. I'm not even mad, I'll be watching. Hope they get Errol Spence and some other good fighters on the undercard.

How are they going to get decent sponsors for this? With Floyd's history of DV, and it going H2H with CFB?

Floyd is still the PPV king. Alot of people were upset with the last fight, but I still can't imagine this dude doesn't pull ridiculously high ratings if he's fighting on CBS. Sponsors won't be an issue.
And regardless, Al Haymon bought the airtime to show PBC this entire season so I don't think he's worried about sponsors like that, as long as they got viewership they can build some stars. They need to make it count though and get some young, non-broner fighters on the undercard.
